"Arise, look unto the hills from whence cometh your help. Arise and stand; proclaim my Word in the distant coast-lands. Proclaim the return of your soon coming King. Just 40 minutes before my plane landed in Sask. I was in prayer for this province. When opening the shutters to my window and then looking out, what I saw next took my breath away. Below all the lakes and farmhouses as far as the eye could see appeared to be pure liquid SILVER. The brilliance and beauty could never be described by mere words. Immediately I began to silently cry out to God to explain what this meant. Then I looked towards the horizon, there with baited breath I witnessed God's Majestic Hand creating what appeared to be a thin layer of fluffy clouds that were pure GOLD. Again I silently cried out for the meaning of all this. I knew God was showing me something and wanted me to hear clearly. It was too early for sunset 4:00pm and I knew that this spectacular display was a sign from Him. My silent pray became more desperate. "God please help me to hear beyond my hearing and see beyond my seeing. Give me Your ears and Your eyes." Then as if watching a fast forward video, the clouds on the horizon began to roll at high speed and then above my window a huge flat circular cloud formed. It stood perfectly still in the sky. Circling this massive beauty was a spectacular circular rainbow. I knew that I knew that God was with me and was about to move greatly over this beautiful province called Sask. At that moment time stood still as the Spirit of God reminded me of a scripture found in Haggi 2: 8 The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
Along with the scripture in Haggi, God also reminded me of something a friend had said about his experience with Circular Rainbows. Over the last twelve years he has seen two circular rainbows while flying. Immediately following he has seen a powerful move of God's Glory cover the place of which it was seen. So with great expectancy I landed in Sask.
The messages I carried were Haggi 2: 6-9 and the story of Joseph Genesis 37- 49 and our need as the body of Christ to Pray for Israel.
Haggi 2: 6 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it [is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry [land]; 7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts. 8 The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
"God is shaking the dry land of the prairies and is shouting WAKE UP! This is not the time to be absorbed in self-pity and living under the circumstances. Do not look down but up. Give out of your nothingness and see God bless and multiply. Today God has placed into your hands an opportunity to bring Glory to His Name. Where there is hopelessness you will carry hope. This is not a time to become tired. Reach out and help your fellow man. Arise shine!!!! There will be divine provision, promotion and purpose in all that you do to bringing honour to His Name. Yes, God is shaking us up. Waking us up!!! For according to His word, when this shaking takes place His Glory will fall and this present church will be greater then the former Church!!! And in all their prayers may we pray for the peace of Israel!"
I spoke many times bringing this message of hope. Where ever we went we witnessed an outpouring of the Spirit of God. Tired discouraged people began to see anew that God is still on His throne and we His people, have set before us, a journey of hope, purpose and healing.
Just to summarize in a few comments:
1. We have to 'WAKE UP' Eph 5: 14 "Wake up. O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
2. We must be His hands extended. 'GIFT OF HELPS RISE UP'
3. We must refuse to live under the circumstances. 'NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP!
After speaking nine times I was handed a word written by a friend from British Columbia. Below are parts of that word.
"In the 1920's Smith Wigglesworth and Dr. Charles Price foretold a significant revival in Northern Canada in the late 40's. They described it as a great wave of blessing that would bring great hope to the world. But because man would introduce a mixture-God in grief would with -draw. The wave would recede, leaving a desert condition for a generation of 50 years. But at the end of the century another wave would roll in, 10 times more power and glory of the first. It would continue in blessing until the return of the King! (The Latter Rain Revival in North Battleford was from 1948-1953.) In 2003 it will be 50 years. It is interesting to note that it began the year that Israel became a nation.
On January 31st 1995 the Lord gave me a dream about a dry waterfall. There were people preparing and working together on a wall that would facilitate the flow of the water when it came. The flow of the water will be 10 times greater than at any other time in history. Only those who were preparing now in anticipation of what was to come would be used to facilitate when it came. As I prayed into the dream the Lord said we had seven years to prepare. Seven is the number of spiritual completion, perfection and fullness.
I had several impressions from the Lord. Firstly, although threshold is there, it requires a choice to step over it. The chronos time will become a kairos experience, and emergence and convergence experience, if we step over the threshold. Many who are not prepared will not recognize the threshold or be prepared to step over. Those who do will start with raining tears of intercession due to the burden of the Lord for the lost, His kingdom and His destined purposes for Canada.
Could it be that we are on the threshold of a move of God that we have never witnessed before on this earth? Could it be that miracles greater then Moses experienced in the wilderness will be poured out over our land? Could it be that God is calling forth those who have faith to believe for the impossible to step forward and not get weary in well doing? Could it be that we the people of Canada are very much apart of the releasing of the Glory of God over this world? I ask these questions with expectancy in my heart. Lord do what ever is required to release Your glory and may we all be found faithful to the end.

THE COLUMBIA DISASTER
"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces." (Zec 12:3)
It was with very heavy hearts that we received the news about the Columbia disaster. We are truly grieving over the deaths of these astronauts, representing the best of both the United States and Israel.
It is impossible to simply ignore the fact that this joint US Israeli enterprise exploded over Palestine, Texas. This cannot be any coincidence. In fact, since He who watches over Israel never sleeps nor slumbers, the golden rule is that nothing is ever a coincidence when it comes to Israel. The Jewish people are a prophetic people and God has never removed that calling from them.
Just days before Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had declared that he intends to form a new government in Israel based on President Bush's "road map" for a Palestinian state. The very day before the disaster US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, declared that in coming days, President Bush would become more deeply involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict than he was in his first two years in the White House. The President, who was sitting in a meeting with Prime Minister Tony Blair at Camp David when the disaster occurred, had just agreed to give Israel six weeks before it has to respond to "The Quartet's" "road map" to form a Palestinian state, the exact same time given to Iraq to disarm.
It is clear that both President Bush's as well as "The Quartet's" road maps are road maps of destruction. Zec 12 :3 clearly says that in the last days God will make Jerusalem "a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces."
It is deeply troubling that President Bush in his pursuit to go to war against Iraq in order to disarm Saddam Hussein, never once as far as we can recall, has asked the Church in America to pray for its success. In his latest speech, given from the White House this week, he never once mentioned God and ended by declaring, "And we can give the Iraqi people their chance to live in freedom and choose their own government."
What makes matters worse is that President Bush's declaration to disarm Iraq, has from the very beginning been linked to his plan to establish a Palestinian state. The most likely cause of the destruction of the joint US Israeli space enterprise was an injury on the left wing caused during takeoff. The engineers, however, had concluded that the damage on the wing posed no safety hazard.
Could it be that the left wing policies in Israel and the US, which originally brought about the idea of a Palestinian state, is a far more serious damage to the security of these two nations than what most people think? Is God trying to warn America and Israel to not keep Him out of their plans? Oh, that both America and Israel would take warning concerning their common plans about a Palestinian state, so that the deaths of these fine astronauts have not been in vain, but been used by God to avert a far greater tragedy.
A word of clarification must be said concerning war with Iraq. In December we sent out an appeal by pastor Ted Haggard in Colorado Springs to pray that Saddam Hussein would leave Iraq in order to avoid war. Our understanding of the appeal was that if Saddam did not do this before the December 31, there would be war. God is always merciful, and wants to give people a chance to repent.
We later found out that the appeal by Pastor Haggard meant that we should continue to pray that there would be no war with Iraq, something that we do not agree with. We do believe that God wants to deal with the danger from Iraq and humiliate Islam and Islamic terrorism in order to open up the Muslim world for the gospel. This should be our goal. Because of this we also included in the same Prayer Alert in December, an appeal by Jim Goll to pray for protection over specifically US and Israel during the first 91 days in 2003.
Rather than praying indefinitely against war with Iraq, we must pray that God will help America to succeed in disarming Iraq. Please note that USA, Israel and India are right now the three greatest hindrances towards Muslim worldwide conquest and domination. It was specifically these three nations that were represented in the Colombia space shuttle. This is no coincidence! There is a war right now in the heavenlies with the principality of Islam.
THE COLUMBIA DISASTER IS A WAKE UP CALL THAT THERE IS AN ENORMOUS NEED FOR PRAYER AND FASTING TO TURN THE BATTLE IN THE HEAVENLIES OVER ISLAM INTO A DEFEAT FOR THIS PRINCIPALITY! The situation is very alarming.
The following is what we have been led to pray for concerning the conflict with Iraq. We believe that they are very important.
** PRAY THAT PRESIDENT BUSH WILL HUMBLE HIMSELF UNDER ALMIGHTY GOD AND QUICKLY SEND OUT A CLEAR APPEAL TO NATIONAL PRAYER AND FASTING FOR GOD'S HELP TO DEAL WITH SADDAM HUSSEIN! There is right now a reckless pride that believes that America through her superior technology and military strength alone is able to repeat the victory over Iraq in the Gulf War of 1991. This is very dangerous! More than one prophet has warned about this. Columbia should be a warning from God to not trust in human wisdom and strength!!
** PRAY THAT PRESIDENT BUSH WILL TAKE WARNING FROM COLUMBIA AND NOT PROCEED WITH HIS OR ANY OTHER "ROAD MAP" FOR A PALESTINIAN STATE IN ORDER TO APPEASE ARAB REGIMES TO GET THEM ON BOARD AGAINST IRAQ!
** PRAY FOR A CLEAR EXPOSURE NOW OF SADDAM HUSSEIN'S WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION! The Scripture that God has given us is Nah 3:5, " 'I am against you,' declares the LORD Almighty. 'I will lift your skirts over your face. I will show the nations your nakedness and the kingdoms your shame.' "
We should pray that God would even use the UN and Hans Blix to expose Saddam! Before this verse in Nahum it talks about God's judgment over "the mistress of sorceries, who enslaved nations by her prostitution and peoples by her witchcraft." We need to pray that Hussein's games to fool the world will be exposed and come to an end.
** PRAY FOR THE RIGHT TIMING AND ALSO THAT MANY NATIONS WILL JOIN AMERICA AGAINST IRAQ WITHOUT THE UN INVOLVED! Here is a key Scripture,
"And all nations shall serve him [Nebuchadnezzar] and his son and his grandson, UNTIL THE GOD-APPOINTED TIME OF PUNISHMENT OF HIS OWN LAND [Babylon = Iraq] comes. And then MANY NATIONS AND GREAT KINGS SHALL MAKE HIM THEIR SLAVE." (Jer 27:7) This seems to be the God appointed time, but let's continue to pursue this in prayer! Much is at stake here. Israeli experts are predicting than a US attack on Iraq will come before the end of this month.
** PRAY THAT ARIEL SHARON WILL TRUST IN GOD RATHER THAN AMERICA CONCERNING ISRAEL'S SAFETY AND NOT FORM A GOVERNMENT IN ISRAEL BASED ON ANY "ROAD MAP" TO ESTABLISH A PALESTINIAN STATE!
** CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR GOD'S MERCY AND GRACE TO SUPERNATURALLY PROTECT ESPECIALLY AMERICA AND ISRAEL IN THIS DANGEROUS CONFLICT! See below! The largest terror attack ever in Israel was planned for the day of the elections on January 28. Let us thank God that this and also other attacks have been discovered beforehand and stopped lately!

Christians fear Muslim takeover French-brokered deal could lead to Islamic state in Ivory Coast

Christians in Ivory Coast fear an Islamic insurrection could succeed in creating a Muslim state in the African nation after the signing of a French-brokered peace accord that gives important positions of power to rebels.
The majority Christian population in the south views the deal as capitulation to political and military leaders in the Muslim north who last September abandoned the democratic process and resorted to violent means in order to achieve power, according to the British charity Barnabas Fund. The peace plan calls for a government of national unity in which rebels would hold the key interior and defense posts.
Hundreds of people have been killed in four months of violence and more than a million internally displaced. Since the agreement was announced, Jan. 25, Abidjan and other parts of the Ivory Coast have seen widespread protests almost daily.
Last week, Muslim mobs stoned Christian protestors in Abidjan and Agboville, which led to fighting in which 15 people were killed, 40 wounded and several churches and mosques razed to the ground.
On Feb. 2, Christians in several suburbs of Abidjan were injured in attacks by Muslim mobs angered by the murder of a famous Muslim who also was a member of a mainly-Muslim political party, the Rally of the Republicans.
Ivory Coast is one of several countries in northern Africa where Muslims are seeking to expand their power and impose Islamic law among Christians, including Sudan and Nigeria. Many Christians in southern Ivory Coast believe neighboring Muslim-majority Burkina Faso is supporting the rebels.
Christian districts have been targeted for attack in the rebel stronghold of Boukae, where homes have been looted and burned. Muslim northerners also reportedly have been targeted in southern areas loyal to the government.
The fighting began on Sept. 19 when a failed military coup sparked clashes between rebel military units and troops loyal to President Laurent Gbagbo's government. Early on, it became clear that Muslims backed the rebels with the ethnic Ivorian Christians supported the government.
Traditionally Côte d'Ivoire has had a reputation as a haven of peace and stability in West Africa where different religious and ethnic groups have been able to live together in harmony.
Though Ivory Coast has had a reputation for stability, tensions between Muslims and Christians have increased in recent years with the influx of Muslim immigrants in the north, mainly from Burkina Faso. The newcomers now comprise about one-third of the north's population.
The tensions have grown as the Muslim community has sought to increase its political power. In December 2000, Muslim supporters of the Rally of the Republicans party violently protested in the streets of Abidjan after the party's leader was prevented from running for parliament because he was not born in Ivory Coast.
