Greetings
all,
Many of you
will remember the focus of much prayer and intercession over Tallahassee
and Florida in the late 90s. This is an update of the latest happenings
there. God is still on the move in Tallahassee, Florida and will finish
what He started.
Blessing,

Ken Malone,
Apostolic Coordinator, U.S.S.P.N.
Tallahassee,
Florida,
February 21,
2005
22nd
floor of the
Capitol
Building
At
6:45 pm
on
February 21, 2005, approximately 125 people assembled on the 22nd
floor of Florida’s Capitol Building to worship, to hear from U.S.S.P.N.
Apostolic Coordinator, Ken Malone, and to intercede on behalf of
the City of Tallahassee and the State of Florida. Worship for the
gathering, called “Establishing the Atmosphere,” was led by Rosa
Lovett, Vickie Cabell, and a cross-denominational city team of
musicians.
Pam Olson,
Coordinator for the National Day of Prayer, announced plans to develop a
local prayer center in Tallahassee which would be similar to and in
relationship with the National Prayer Center.
Jo Anne
Arnett,
Leon County Coordinator, U.S.S.P.N., shared words of the growing power
of the Holy Spirit in this region. She suggested ways for attendees to
become involved in a growing prayer effort on behalf of Tallahassee and
the surrounding areas, and encouraged them to pray and worship as they
move throughout the city.
Gail Lolley,
Coordinator of the event, introduced Ken’s message as a springboard for
us in prayer, an opening to receive impartation and to establish it in
the earth.
In speaking,
Ken reminded us of Isaiah 22:22, and the fact that we are in a
glassed-in observatory, a “seer” floor. Like Martin Luther King, Ken
has a dream and a vision that Florida will experience such a move of God
that entire cities will be held under siege by the presence of the Lord;
that they will be controlled by His Kingdom, and that His presence will
interrupt and guide all proceedings.
“In
those days, John the Baptist came, preaching in the
Desert
of
Judea
and saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near’. This is he who
was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the
desert”, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ ”
Matthew 3:1-3
Ken’s
message followed this scripture with declarations that Florida will
repent (after knowledge, a change in the way of thinking), see things
anew, change our minds and therefore our behavior, make ready the way of
the Lord, and make straight the highway for our God.
Ken spoke to
the atmosphere more strongly than to those in attendance, saying God has
placed each of us here to change the earth; to be light in dark places
and voices crying in the wilderness. God is looking for voices to call
out on His behalf. Moses, when called, tried to excuse himself. Are we
also guilty of thinking we can’t be used as God’s instrument to help
make the mountains low or the valleys exalted, the crooked straight, or
the rough places smooth?
We are
called to close the door to the spirit of death and open the door to the
spirit of life; the Spirit of the Lord. Our mission is about being
obedient; about legislating from the heavens. We are called to prepare
the way of the Lord for every representative, every senator and governor
to be saved and for healing to begin.
Ken said
that God would open the gates of angelic visitation to Florida
officials, and that there would be a breaking of the dividing lines that
have tended to “set off” one section of the state in competition with
others. He quoted the dream of one of his church members in which,
during a football game, player #22 made increasingly long runs until he
increased his runs to 35 yards. A coach, when consulted about the
dream, said that when a team accomplishes 35 yard runs on a consistent
basis it is because the enemy’s defenses are down.
Both Isaiah
22:15-22 and Psalm 24 speak of preparing the atmosphere for the King of
Glory to come in. Ken prophetically took a large key representing the
house of David, saying that what is opened this night, no one will be
able to shut, and what is closed, no one will be able to open. He then
opened doors to angelic visitations, closed the door to same sex
marriages, and opened the door to constitutional provisions for the
same. He released freedom of the Lord, declared the Church to wake up
and birth the greatest revival the state has ever seen. He released
covering to awaken the dream and renew covenant with God and this city
and with Florida as a first fruit state.
We were
admonished to dig wells of revival in our cities, to release Isaiah
22:22, and to close and open visitation. Ken declared the visitation of
the Spirit on
Key West
with an invasion of an army of angels and people who would work with
them. He saw fires across Florida, revival for the city of Gainesville,
revival in Ft. Pierce that would pierce the heavens. He saw God’s
covenant established in all the parts of the state named for, or in
which there had been forts, specifically naming Ft. Mede and Ft. Myers.
He declared
South Florida open to the Lord and
Miami
open to God’s judgment and war for the city. He said that Haiti, the
Bahamas, and every nation with a symbol in the state will be touched by
God. He said God will lay hold of Florida this year, hold it in His
hand, and shake it by His glory and presence. The Panhandle was seen on
fire with the presence of His angels and marching troops sent to release
glory. He saw
Florida
beaches well visited and revival loosed upon all beaches. People who
come to worship the sun will exchange it for worship of the Son.
Tallahassee
will no longer be called deserted. He said we must repent of thinking
and say, “I have married you and My delight is upon you,” as Hephzibah
and Beulah. The Supreme Court of Florida will change its thinking and
vote in righteousness and in His favor. A spirit of boldness will be
released upon Governor Bush. Members of the Senate will change their
thinking lest they be removed from office. The same will be true for
representatives and those in the Governor’s office.
Worship and
rejoicing followed Ken’s inspiring words. Several attendees commented
on the fog that was present when we arrived and that lifted during the
service, bringing clarity of view from all sides. One noted that lights
at Bragg Stadium, FAMU, were either turned on or could be seen for the
first time during the service. A local intercessor had been reading
about an orange cloud as the glory of the Lord. She had seen that cloud
as we came and both she and others marveled to watch fog lift into
clarity.
The King of
Glory has come into Florida to set up His throne. May the atmosphere on
the 22nd floor of the Florida Capitol building hold such a
lasting residue of His presence that visitors will feel it and know God
is in this place.
