"I HAD A DREAM"
Last night -- by Steve Shultz
(In the wee hours of October 15, 2004)
"Last night, while here in Dallas, TX, to film Kim Clement for our
next streaming television program, I (Steve Shultz) had a dream. In
this dream the entire group of supreme court justices were asked by
an unseen voice, which one among them was like the famous King
Nebuchadnezzar -- the one who had to be humbled like a beast of the
field until he (Nebuchadnezzar) glorified God. One Supreme Court
Justice came forward, though I did not recognize the face of the
man. It was indistinguishable. I knew this man was prideful and
would be subject to God's judgment because of it -- unless
repentance came.
I believe this to be a true warning for a specific Supreme Court
Justice (though I do not claim to know who it is). The "Justice" who
like Nebuchadnezzar was given a full year to repent before he
eventually lost his mind -- according to the prophecy. After that
time, when repentance finally came, the King (or in this case a
Supreme Court Justice) would indeed repent and experience
restoration and give Glory to a SUPREME GOD -- because God always
works towards salvation and grace towards all of mankind earth.

Here are some notes on Nebuchadnezzar from a Bible Encyclopedia:
4:29 twelve
months: the reference here is to a "grace period" between the
prediction of Nebuchadnezzar's madness and its occurrence. Perhaps
Nebuchadnezzar was allowed a full year in the hope that he might
repent and advert the judgment of God for his arrogant pride.
Nebuchadnezzar would become insane, animal-like in his habits and
senses. Yet in that condition he would learn more of God then he
ever had before. In fact, the purpose and judgment was that
Nebuchadnezzar might know who God is and how He sovereignly creates
kingdoms and distributes them to whom He wills. Nebuchadnezzar had
to be humbled before he could be exalted again. The chastisement of
God is always for a holy and helpful purpose. Nebuchadnezzar
ultimately praises the Most High, recognizing that God lives forever
and rules forever. The king unmistakingly acknowledges Daniel's God
as the omnipotent, eternal Sovereign of the universe.
Pray for whomever this is, because I believe this to be a literal
dream where the Lord chooses in his unique way to bring redemption
to a man who now sits on the Supreme Court. God's love, Justice,
Grace, and Mercy are past finding out -- so pray for all on the
Supreme Court.

Dear Friends,
The past few weeks rank as some of the most memorable and important
of my life to date – and that is not said lightly...
We have just completed 50 days of
24/7 ceaseless worship and intercession in
Colorado Springs for the elections, the Supreme Court, and a massive
national awakening!
During this time, I was privileged to stand in intercession
alongside some of the most remarkable young adults I have ever met!
They have labored on behalf our nation in prayer, frequently for 7
to 12 hours a day, many of them going on extended fasts, as they
wrestled for the future of America! Many of them joined us for the
full 50 days.
It often seemed we had an open heaven and many young people had
profound throne room experiences and much prophetic revelation, some
of which I will be sharing in this letter.
During worship one evening, a
young crack addict walked in and was immediately translated to
heaven!
Afterwards, he remained there worshipping the Bridegroom with
language so passionate and descriptive that it could only have been
God! This was an unforgettable, holy season. As Charles Spurgeon
once said, "Our days of fasting have been high days indeed. Never
have we been closer to the central glory!"
Not every day was glorious however... Much of the time we were
wrestling and persevering in prayer. By the 44th night of intense,
non-stop, day and night worship and prayer, we were all exhausted.
Sapped of strength, all we could do was wait upon the Lord in
weakness.
The following day, however, we had in incredible breakthrough... The
spirit of intercession descended powerfully upon us as we prayed
against the strongholds of homosexuality and abortion in our nation.
It was as if the Council Room of Heaven suddenly came down among us.
We received an explosion of divine strategy as the Lord revealed His
purposes to us in a startling way.
Two Mocking Spirits
To understand
what I'm about to share, you need to know of an unusual encounter a
prophetic friend of mine had.
This friend had an actual physical experience. As he was driving
from
Kansas City in Colorado Springs to join us, a massive tornado
touched down behind his car and followed him along the freeway! With
a real fear of imminent death upon him, he fled wildly down
interstate highway 70, barely escaping.
He felt as if there was almost a personality behind this phenomenon.
Two days after this terrifying experience, he received a dream in
which two massive tornadoes were pursuing him and with the letters
"h" and "a" on both tornadoes. In the dream, he was restrained from
confronting the tornadoes until the young people involved with
TheCauseUSA had first gone to a laundry room to wash their clothes.
Only after that was it possible to confront the tornadoes.
He understood the two tornadoes with the "ha-ha" on them were two
Goliath mocking spirits unleashed against the Church and bringing
destruction to the nation. He also knew the "h" stood for
homosexuality and the "a" stood for abortion.
We knew God was giving us a mandate for intercession and that a
great preparation and cleansing first needed to take place before we
could resist these powers. We felt God was laying upon our shoulders
the responsibility to hold these forces back, and if we did not, the
victory of these two spirits would be manifested in who was elected
into national office in the upcoming elections...
As the leaders gathered to discuss the "ha-ha" tornado vision, it
was as if a lightning strike of revelation broke in, with even
greater authority. We had been discussing our plans to travel to
D.C. to join the national fast that is being called. We were looking
at a map and had decided to take Interstate Highway 70, when someone
felt lead to read Psalm 70 for Highway 70.
We were
electrified by what it said...
Psalm 70:2-3: "Let them be
ashamed and confounded who seek my life (the children in the womb);
let them (these two tornadoes) be turned back and confused who
desire my hurt. Let them be turned back because of their shame, who
say, 'Aha! Aha!'"
We sat
stunned and shocked at the revelation as God confirmed that these
two mocking spirits MUST be turned back...
PLEASE JOIN US IN A NATIONAL FAST FOR THE LAST DAYS BEFORE THE
ELECTIONS. THROUGH Nov 2 (Election Day).
As you read this, we are on a prayer journey from Kansas City, the
heart of America, to Washington, D.C. We will be traveling along
Interstate Highway 70 and holding gatherings in Missouri, in Ohio,
Pennsylvania and Florida, all swing states. We believe that God has
commissioned us on this divine national assignment to resist and
turn back these two mocking and destructive spirits of homosexuality
and abortion. This is not our task alone – it's the mandate to the
church in this hour to cry out to God for mercy, in repentance.

The 2000 presidential elections were decided by a mere 537 votes,
yet 4 million evangelicals never bothered to exercise their
God-given authority and vote!
It is not exaggeration to say these could be some of the most
important elections in our nation's history. Please set aside time
to pray every day between Sept 24 (Day of Atonement) and November 2,
which is 40 days exactly!
SUPREME COURT NEEDS SUPREME LEADER
The next President of the United States of America will decide the
fate of legalized abortion and whether millions of innocent lives
can continue to be taken in our country, 'legally' with the full
permission of the law...
In 2000, in Stenberg v. Carhart,
the U.S. Supreme Court - by a narrow 5-4 vote - struck down a
Nebraska abortion ban. This five-member pro-choice majority would be
overthrown by the appointment of just one new Justice, by the next
president!
- Chief Justice Rehnquist, appointed 32 years ago by Nixon, is now 80.
- Justice Stevens, appointed 29 years ago by Ford, is 84 years old.
- Justices O'Connor appointed 23 years ago by Reagan, is 74 years old
- Justice Ginsburg, appointed 11 years ago by Clinton is 71 years old.
Any of these Justices could vacate their seats during the next 4
years, due to illness, death or retirement!!
It is clear that the influence
of a Supreme Court judge far outlasts that of the president who
appointed them. The outcome of Nov 2 will decide the judicial future
of
America for decades to come, not only in the Supreme Court but also
with the appointment of federal judges.
It is critical to be praying for both the presidential race and the
34 Senate races around the country, since this would either aid or
hinder the progress of the president's bills, Supreme Court
appointments and cabinet recommendations. Control of the Senate is
up for grabs and could go either way. Pray for those sixty votes
needed to break any senate filibuster. (Amos 5:15a, 24)
Recognizing the fragile balance of the Supreme Court, pro-abortion
activists have mobilized a massive campaign to defeat President Bush
and thrown their weight behind someone who will advance their
agenda. They are confident in their choice, since this is the
senator with the most liberal voting record of anyone in the senate,
bar none; more liberal than Ted Kennedy or Hillary Clinton on all
issues: none other than John Kerry.
Despite being a Catholic, John
Kerry has publicly pledged that as president he would appoint only
judges who support Roe v. Wade!!
God instituted human government to restrain violence. As Rom 13:3-4
tells us, government should hold no terror for the blameless, since
it bears the sword to punish evildoers. However, when governments
become renegade, they cross their own boundaries and use that sword
against the innocent.
Through legalized abortion, over
40 million American babies have been terrorized in the womb since
1973, yet the church still votes for those who sanction such an
atrocity! Through our votes, we are guilty before God of making
alliances with governments whose laws enshrine evil, particularly
the evil of shedding innocent blood, the ultimate moral offense.
Perhaps it bothers you that I am coming out so strong on this issue
and naming names. All I can say is that millions of unborn
children's lives are at stake here and we have an historic
opportunity to turn the tide. In light of that, I cannot take a
different stand. Please join us boldly in an extended fast for out
nation's future!
This is not about party politics or political careers; it is about
righteousness and justice. God is neither a Republican nor a
Democrat and He does not play favorites. He stands alone above all
governments of men with Kingdom authority. His throne is established
forever on righteousness and justice – it is mightier than the
breakers of the raging sea of history. He judges the nations by His
eternal law and does not ask kings and judges for their opinion, but
calls them to give an account for how they govern.
Will we have a nation governed by the laws of God or the convenient
compromise of man? Who is willing to take a stand on absolutes?
While he is far from perfect, on issues of moral consequence, such
as opposing embryonic stem cell research, partial birth abortions
and gay marriage, George Bush has stood firm.
The End of Silence
Did you ever wonder how Jezebel, a foreign Baal worshipper ended up
at the royal court in Israel, married to Ahab, the king? The answer
is simple: politics, money and convenience opened the door for her
deadly influence in the nation. She was a Phoenician princess and in
keeping with the custom of those days, her marriage to Ahab was
probably arranged as part of a peace treaty and trade agreement with
Sidon, a port city that bordered on Israel's territory.
For the sake of "peace" and their economy, Israel was willing to
turn a blind eye to the vile worship of Baal that Jezebel
aggressively promoted, which included homosexual acts, the offering
up of the innocent children on the altars of Baal, and the murder
and intimidation of the prophets of God.
In this dark hour on Mt Carmel, Elijah confronts the people of
Israel with this burning question: "How long will you hesitate
between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal,
follow him."
But the people
did not answer him a word.' (1 Kings 18:21)
That verse stuns me! How is it possible to remain undecided and
passive when faced with such a choice? Yet all around us, political
correctness has intimidated the Church into whimpering eunuchs in
the palace of Jezebel. How long will we remain silent in this day of
trouble?
We cannot waver between two opinions on the moral issues of our day:
abortion and gay marriage. In our desire to hold onto our 501(c)3s
tax-exemptions, the church has surrendered her voice for economic
benefit. This is wrong!
Jesus told us that we were to render our taxes unto Caesar, but we
were never to render our voices. Can you imagine the prophet Elijah
worrying about the IRS taking away his tax breaks if he anointed
(i.e. endorsed) Jehu as king... or John the Baptist softening his
words because he didn't want Herod to take away his cave?!
Imagine the many prayer meetings during time of slavery that totally
ignored the burning issue of their day... We cannot compromise moral
standards for economic benefits or we are no different than those
who turned a blind eye to the suffering during the days of slavery
prior to the civil war.
Perhaps
the greatest sin of the present church in
America is that we have succumbed to silence and political
correctness. We cannot continue to make alliances with those who
legislate evil.
The church has become afraid of being called a "troubler of Israel."
But this is all coming to an end because the silent screams of 44
million murdered babies that have been heard by God, their cry has
gone up before Him and He will not long tolerate this...
Psalm 94:20 is very clear on this issue, "Shall a throne of
destruction which devises evil by law have fellowship with you?"
the scripture asks. In other words, will you align yourself with a
government that sanctions evil through the very laws they pass?
Be careful how you cast your vote in November. To vote for those who
support the legalization of evil is to have fellowship with them and
we will be held accountable for our agreement with them.
Meeting with Bob Jones
Two weeks before the dream about the tornadoes of homosexuality and
abortion, I met with Bob Jones, a father prophet to us.
He told me we are literally praying
for the very survival of our nation, at this time.
Bob prophesied to me that the Catholic vote in Ohio was critical to
this election and we need to pray for that.
Bob shared again the open vision the Lord gave him in July 1999,
prior to George W. Bush's election as president. In this vision, he
was surrounded by water up to the ankle, which became water to the
knee. It represented a time of favor and blessing upon the righteous
but he also knew this meant a time of "troubled waters" was coming
upon the nation. Then Lord told him a "burning bush" would come out
of Texas, someone who would incline his ear to the word of the
Lord...
Many of you may have read this previously on this Elijah List.
However, what is not been widely known is the last half of this
vision, which I share here with Bob's permission.
In this vision, the Lord showed Bob
if George W. Bush got elected to a second term, he would end
abortion!!
Bob also confirmed to me what we have concluded from the facts:
given the age of the judges on the Supreme Court, three new justices
would be appointed during the next presidential term, setting the
course of the Courts for decades to come!
The Lord also showed Bob that in his second term, George Bush
would open the door to a godly successor who would be in office for
two terms and would usher in full-blown, historic revival!
America would thus be blessed by sixteen years of mercy and grace.
Should this not occur, our nation will surely face the judgments of
God in increasing measure for our sins. Bob made the severity of
this word very, very clear to me.
It is important to understand the abolition of abortion in our
nation and the election of this coming godly president is a
conditional promise from the Lord. It's fulfillment rests on the
prayers and intercession of the church.
Today, God is offering us the historic opportunity to end the
legalized killing of the next generation. Please set aside these
last few weeks for fasting and prayer for America. May we not be
silent or apathetic in this hour, but let our cries be heard in
heaven and our votes counted on earth!!

Last night at 2:20 pm the Lord woke me up to pray for President
Bush and gave me the following vision. He was sitting in a chair
alongside of a Red Phone. This phone is only assigned to the
President. No one else had access or could use it. This Red phone
only rings when there is an emergency like war.
This Red phone rang twice, the expression on his face was almost
annoyed & "what is this now?" The third time, he answered the Red
Phone. It was a CALL TO WAR, he was listening to the person that was
speaking to him in authority.
I know everyone is praying - we need to intensify it. THIS IS A
CALL FOR WAR.
WE NEED TO WAGE A GOOD WARFARE. PASS IT ALONG!
* PRAYER ALERT – 10-12-04,
Intercessory Prayer Initiative
Dear prayer warriors,
We and many others have been focusing prayer for our President's
safety. A respected leader who has been praying with us contacted
our office last Thursday and said that the Holy Spirit spoke to them
that due to intercession the door of attack against our President
was closed and the enemy's plan thwarted.
The prophetic insight we send out is revealed for the purposes of
prayer–to change the events the enemy is planning. Often a prophetic
word to intercessors is revealing an enemy strategy that we have the
power and authority to counteract if we pray.
October is a month of divine interventions and divine protection.
Sometimes the things we pray are exposed in the natural and other
times they are not. One credible plot was exposed through an article
in the New York Daily News (referred to in the ALERT on 10-7-04)
where a man is being sought by the FBI for threats to kill the
President, but that may not have been the only one. Even though we
have heard that the door has been closed to the enemy's specific
strategy, we should continue to pray for the President's safety.
Spiritual things have to be spiritually discerned. We had sent
out a prophetic word from Prophet Hank Kunneman regarding the 8th in
St. Louis--a word that was given before the debate schedule was
known. Through God's wisdom, months ago Rev. Kunneman had accepted
an invitation to speak in St. Louis on Friday night and was
ministering just a few miles away from the location of the debate.
The following morning he sought the Lord for insight.
What really happened in the spirit realm that night? How did God
"send a chariot to ride over St. Louis"? God says He was there
weighing the words in His balance. Which were political words and
which were words leading to righteousness? All issues on the
political spectrum are not equal in God's eyes. One issue that is
near to God's heart and where the words stood out is the killing of
the unborn. Millions who were intended for the great harvest have
been killed. Many who were intended as leaders of the revival
movement of this generation died. This issue is of great weight in
God's eyes.
We look for a sign. Some thought it would be a meteor or some
other natural phenomenon. On Sunday, one of the most outspoken
advocates of abortion and stem cell research died what would seem to
be an untimely death. He had even been quoted on Friday night. There
is no Superman.
Today is the 12th and we are 21 days until the election will be
held. Daniel 10 tells one of the most powerful biblical examples of
intercessory prayer as he prayed and fasted for 21 days. The warring
angel Michael was released to battle in response to Daniel's prayer
and it took 21 days for him to get through.
We are at a pivotal point in our nation. Al-Qaeda has made public
announcements that they will act to interfere with the election
process. Oral Roberts and others are calling the election an intense
spiritual battle. We as intercessors--like Daniel--can make a
difference and turn the course of events to call righteousness to
our nation.
Prayer Points:
Ask God to release His warring angels to fight for God's agenda
in our nation.
Pray for evil plans to be exposed.
Pray for God's continued intervention and protection for our
President.
Pray for our troops in Iraq and that the spirit of terror in that
region will be bound.
Praying Against Anti-Christ Conspiracy

magazine, was in Europe last week (France and Ukraine) and during
his visit he was astounded by the level of hatred and animosity
aimed at the United States and President Bush. This anger represents
more than just a difference of opinion on political issues. It can
only be explained in spiritual terms -- as a demonic rage. Spiritual
forces in various nations of the world are angry because their
territory in the Middle East is being opened to freedom and
democracy.
The Lord took Lee to Revelation 12, which shows us a prophetic
picture of how the Messiah has triumphed over the dragon. This
passage tells us that the dragon goes on continual fits of rage
after his plans are stopped by the victorious Lamb of God. This
demonic rage, described in verses 4, 13, 15 and 17, is a hatred of
God and His righteous authority. It is aimed at the saints, and it
results in martyrdom if it is not curtailed.
Right now anti-Christ spirits in Europe, the Middle East and
other parts of the world have gathered in a confederation to oppose
God's plans---and they are conspiring to manipulate and control the
2004 election in the United States because of its global
implications. We need to understand that this anti-Christ spirit is
murderous.
We believe we should stand on the promises of Psalm 2 as we ask
the Lord to respond to this international outcry. Psalm 2 says that
the leaders of nations have assembled to oppose God's authority and
to stop righteous rulers.
It is time for us to issue the decree and ask the Lord to install
His appointed leader in the 2004 election.
Prayer Points:
That anti-Christ forces in Europe, the Middle East and in the
United Nations will not be able to manipulate public opinion in this
country. Pray specifically against the flood of lies that is coming
from foreign media outlets.
That these anti-Christ forces will be exposed --especially if
they are plotting assassination or terrorism. Pray that the anger
and rage will be neutralized so that people are not manipulated to
engage in violent acts.
That the Lord will intervene in such a way that His enemies will
be silenced. Psalm 2:4 says that the Lord will laugh at those who
rage against Him. As we intercede, we can arise in faith, laugh with
Him, and issue a decree from our place of authority as the saints of
God. We can say with him, as it says in Psalm 2:6: "I have installed
My king on My holy mountain."
Decree that God will install His appointed leader in our nation.
Stand With Those in
Washington D.C.
Several different groups have been holding services in Washington
DC to repent for our national sin and ask for mercy on our nation.
This Friday, October 15th, a gathering is being held on the National
Mall to stand up for traditional marriage. Mayday for Marriage is
headed by Dr. Ken Hutcherson, senior pastor of Antioch Bible Church
and will include many speakers such as Dr. James Dobson, Chuck
Colson and Ann Graham Lotz. An America for Jesus rally will be held
on the National Mall on Friday, October 22nd.
Prayer Points:
Join in repentance for our national sins and asking for mercy on
our nation.
Pray for the safety of these events.

Greetings in the Mighty Name of Jesus!,
Saints, the future of the nation does not rest in the hands of
movers and shakers of this world, they are only pawns to fulfill
God's purposes. Rather the
fate of the
nation and the world lies in the prayers of the intercessors!
I had to recently repent before Almighty God for getting my eyes
off Him and His Word and focusing on the tragic lethargy of many in
the body of Christ during this most critical time in our nation's
history with so much at stake.
He spoke to me this morning during my prayer time and I want to
share this word with you since I believe it will strengthen and
encourage you.
"Do not look to the sleeping
church, nor to what the polls say; look only to ME. If you do not,
you will surely sink as did Peter when I bid him to come out of the
boat to where I was. When he (Peter) took his eyes off me and looked
at the raging waves, his faith
began to sink first, then he.
"I control the world and all
that is there in. I have given you my Word which is steadfast and
sure and is an anchor to your soul. Do not be discouraged. Trust me
and obey! And you will see my glory. I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End. I hold the keys of death, hell, and the
grave and I have overcome. Abide deeply in me and you will overcome
also.
"The reign of my kingdom is being expanded through your
travailing supplications. Do not be dismayed but continue steadfast
to what I have called you to do. Be faithful unto the end."
KEY
TO VICTORY: PREVAILING PRAYER
Since we are in a season of intense battle where we are being
pressed on every side, it is absolutely necessary to press deeper
into God; casting aside all doubts and excuse. The enemy is
desperate and he is throwing everything out from his arsenal but
remember he is a defeated foe. Below are some keys that I have
discovered has helped me.
Keys to Prevailing Prayer
1. Pray the Word
of God into each and every situation, apply the
Name and the
Blood of Jesus over every petition!
"Whatsoever you
shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be
glorified in the Son...if you ask anything in my name, I will
do it." (John 14:13)
"Ye
have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that
you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should
remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name,
he may give it you." (John 15:16)
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Father
in my name, he will give it you." (John 16:23)
2. Pray with
increased
tenacity! Don't settle for "No." Like Jacob of old
who wrestled all night with the angelic messenger until the dawn, so
we must pray with importunity and
unrelenting
persistence. (Gen. 32:24-28)
3. Pray with
fervency:
"And being in agony, he (Jesus)
prayed the more earnestly.
. ." (Luke 22:44)
"The
effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed
earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth
by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and
the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit."
4.
Bind every stronghold and
Loosen the presence of
the Kingdom in every situation.
"I will
give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on
earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will
be loosed in heaven." (Matt. 16:19)
"I tell
you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
(Matt. 18:18)
5. Praise
and Worship
"And when they began to

6. Whenever possible pray
corporately
with others.
"Again,
I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask
for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two
or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
(Matt. 18:19-20)
7. Check to see how
other prayer leaders are in your area are doing.
"Bear
ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
(Gal.6:2)
Many have been assaulted with sickness, financial setbacks,
depression, etc., but after we prayed against the enemy in the area
they were suffering there was a tremendous breakthrough and now have
joined the battle front.

* THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET

Dear friends:
Ten-year-old Marissa of Arizona has continued having visions of
heaven and lately in her visions has been hearing a trumpet
sounding. On September 29, 2004, she said, "I want to tell people
that I continue to hear the trumpet sound everyday now. Each day it
is a little louder than before."
"That's nice," I thought, "but what does it mean? I don't hear
anything. It can't be the rapture trumpet because we are still
here." I have repeated to myself, "What does it mean?"
Today I received a first-time message from a fellow I do not know
which may contain the answer to my question. He described a
prophetic dream, in part saying:
"Here is the dream and it was pretty vivid. I remember all the
sudden I believe I was in my home when the sounds of shofars went
off and could see people blowing them. One would blow then another
in sequence of the other one that just blew his shofar, then the
shofar noise became a straight sound coming forth from them like the
sound of a trumpet. Then all the sudden I see this light coming
forth in the sky and it began to get bigger and I remember saying to
myself, "Is that a man?" And then this man got huge into full focus
so that I could see him and it was Jesus. I remember saying during
sometime in this dream 'finally I am out of here' as though I was
talking to someone. Then I really thought it was happening and awoke
thinking He was here in the rapture. And that's the end of this
dream. I believe I have already received interpretation to this
dream. God kept showing me that these people blowing these
shofars are those who are sounding the alarm about the wake-up call
such as like the Oral Roberts' vision. And whoever is sounding the
alarm is actually blowing a shofar in the spirit to get ready for
what is about to come on this earth."
This fellow's claimed revelation is that the trumpets presently
sounding in Heaven are those of us presently sounding the alarm on
the earth. Makes sense to me. And according to Marissa, "Each day it
is a little louder than before." We are getting closer. The trumpets
are getting louder. We are experiencing a crescendo of warnings.
Smith's Bible Dictionary
describes the shofar (or trumpet, or cornet) as being used by the
ancient Hebrews as a signal. Many of us, including Oral Roberts, are
sounding the signal that Jesus is coming soon and the end of the age
is upon us.
God says, "If the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the
trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take
any person from among
them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require
at the watchman's hand" (Ezekiel 33:6).
Let us continue to blow the trumpet with boldness and without
apology. This e-mail is itself another trumpet

These are the kind of things we never hear about in the news, but as Christians we need to understand the importance of a president that knows our God, Jesus is His name. The president may not say it how we would like him to, but it is evident he is the only one running for office that even comes close to agreeing with our Magna Carta - the Bible.

Here's the picture he was waiting for before writing his account of
his oval office award and a personal minute of prayer with the
President. I've shortened his write-up by 2/3rds. His concluding
Christian prayer experience will not make the nightly news!
John Deere/Timberjack friend Bruce Vincent receives Presidential
Award

[This is from a man, Bruce Vincent, from
Montana who received an award from the President. He wrote a long
narrative to chronicle the day and the award ceremony, with a
dilemma in telling this story beyond my circle of close friends.
I've way shortened his story for your read.]
"For me, however, the biggest event of the day had already happened
when the East Room Ceremony started up. Stepping into the Oval
Office, each of us was introduced to the President and Mrs. Bush."
We shook hands, received our awards with photo op and participated
in informal conversation.
Two items are recounted: 1] He and the First Lady were asked
about the impact of the Presidency on their marriage and, with an
arm casually wrapped around Laura, he said that he thought the place
may be hard on weak marriages but that it had the ability to make
strong marriages even stronger and that he was blessed with a strong
one.
2] He noted that it would be a mistake to come to the Oval
Office and entertain a mission to 'find yourself.' He said that with
all of the pressures and responsibilities that go with the job,
you'd best know who you are when you put your nameplate on the desk
in the Oval Office. He said he knows who he is and now America has
had four years to learn about who he is.
When we departed the I said to him, "Mr. President, I know you to
be a man of strong faith and have a favor to ask you." As he shook
my hand he looked me in the eye and said, "Just name it."
I told him that my step-Mom was at that moment in a hospital in
Kalispell, Montana, having a tumor removed from her skull and it
would mean a great deal to me if he would consider adding her to his
prayers that day. He grabbed me by the arm and took me back toward
his desk as he said, "So that's it. I could tell that something is
weighing heavy on your heart today. I could see it in your eyes.
This explains it." From the top drawer of his desk he retrieved a
pen and a note card with his seal on it and asked, "How do you spell
her name?" He then jotted a note to her while discussing the
importance of family and the strength of prayer.
When he handed me the card, he asked about the surgery and the
prognosis. I told him we were hoping that it is not a recurrence of
an earlier cancer and that if it is they can get it all with this
surgery. He said, "If it's okay with you, we'll take care of the
prayer right now. Would you pray with me?" I told him yes and he
turned to the staff that remained in the office and hand motioned
the folks to step back or leave. He said, "Bruce and I would like
some private time for a prayer." As they left he turned back to me
and took my hands in his. I was prepared to do a traditional prayer
stance - standing with each other with heads bowed. Instead, he
reached for my head with his right hand and pulling gently forward,
he placed my head on his shoulder. With his left arm on my mid
back, he pulled me to him in a prayerful embrace. He started to
pray softly. I started to cry. He continued his prayer for Loretta
and for God's perfect will to be done. I cried some more. My body
shook a bit as I cried and he just held tighter. He closed by asking
God's blessing on Loretta and the family during the coming months.
I stepped away from our embrace, wiped my eyes, swiped at the tears
I'd left on his shoulder, and looked into the eyes of our
President. I thanked him as best I could and told him that me and
my family would continue praying for he and his. As I write this
account down and reflect upon what it means, I have to tell you that
all I really know is that his simple act left me humbled and
believing. I so hoped that the man I thought him to be was the man
that he is. I know that our nation needs a man such as this in the
Oval Office. George W. Bush is the real deal. I've read Internet
stories about the President praying with troops in hospitals and
other such uplifting accounts. Each time I read them I hope them to
be true and not an Internet perpetuated myth. This one, I know to be
true. I was there. He is real. He has a pile of incredible stuff
on his plate each day - and yet he is tuned in so well to the here
and now that he 'sensed' something heavy on my heart. He took time
out of his life to care, to share, and to seek God's blessing for my
family in a simple man-to-man, father-to-father, son-to-son,
husband-to-husband, Christian-to-Christian prayerful embrace.
He's not what I had hoped he would be. He is, in fact, so very,
very much more. ---------
