Below is a trip report from the team that recently went with Martha to Rome and to Naples, Italy. Please join us in continued prayer for this nation.
TRIP TO ROME AND NAPLES, ITALY
February 6, 2003 – February 10, 2003

FRIDAY - Feb. 7th
ROME:
Visit to Vatican City and Sistine Chapel.
We prayed for a change of regime in the Vatican and for the next pope to expose the false foundations of the church. A couple of days after we were there praying about what I (Martha) heard in my spirit – change of regime, interestingly, Tariq Aziz, the assistant Prime Minister of Iraq arrived. Then as he was being interviewed on television, he refused to answer a question by an Israeli news reporter.
Dealing with False foundation of the church - Apostles and Prophets with Jesus as cornerstone
We broke bread in Sistine Chapel where the selection for the next pope takes place, and where also the ceiling is painted with the true Prophets from the Bible and between each the false oracles from that day. Talk about mixing the false voices with the true. The spirit of divination is very strong in the nation. The guidebook said that this is where the richest treasures in the world are housed.
Visit to Ancient Roman sites – At the Coliseum, which is being re-built, we sensed a strong spirit of fear surrounding this place. We prayed that the true Christians would not be over come by this spirit. We visited the foundation of the City of Rome being founded on a legend of Remus and Romulus who were raised by a she-wolf. They were the off spring of the war goddess. Talk about being founded on WAR. This is also the hill that is the center of all measurement (like Trafalgar Square in London). We prayed that God would shake the heavens and the earth, so that only what is of HIM will remain.
Visit to St Paul’s Basilica outside the walls. The Vatican owns this, so when we entered we were entering another country, as the Vatican is a separate nation. There are three such sites that are owned by the Vatican, which are not within the walls of the Vatican itself.
Reconnaissance trip around Rome for further prayer teams to go and hit the city in the near future. Gathering of information. This is where Peter Wagner is thinking about having the final meeting of the 40/70 window – like Ephesus being the celebration for the 10/40 window, so we feel we need to keep going as often as possible to pray over this city and nation. Another trip is planned for September.
NAPLES
SATURDAY
We arrived in Naples and were met by Pastor Bruno Interlandi who took us to a wealthy area where his church is situated near a monument to the war martyrs (four lions) – they are the watchers crying out for more blood. We prayed here, applying the blood of Jesus to silence the voice of the blood.
We met with Pastor Bruno’s small Church and members of a Philippino Church. The congregation is small and mostly new Christians, but they were hungry for more of God. I (Martha) spoke very briefly on how prayer and intercession can change a city and a nation. We then prayed and prophesied over all the members of Pastor Bruno’s church. The delegation from the Philippino church was quite large, probably 35 or so. We prayed with them and God revealed that they had been the under girding for the nation in prayer, when it had no one. We laid hands on them for watchmen to come forth and for God to begin to send them to the nations as watchmen. It was a very interesting time with the Lord.
The Lutheran building hosts Pastor Bruno’s congregation as well as other congregations – it is 100 years old – members include Stanislow, Anna, Tina (Ti Ti), Paulo, Fernandez and Andrea, Alissia, Pepi. Please pray for them to continue to grow in the Lord. Also pray for Bruno and His wife and children. They need the prayers of the saints to build the Kingdom of God in this place. Bruno says he feels this city is ripe for revival. He was the pastor of a 3,000-member church in Argentina until the Lord spoke to him and his wife that it was time to return to Italy. So he is familiar with revival!
Two members of Pastor Bruno’s church shared their testimony about how God had met them and filled them with the Holy Spirit. Much interest from others as to how this happened. God spoke to each member through prophecy concerning their gifts and He stirred within them a desire to let these gifts come forth and bless the CHURCH.
We prayed and prophesied to Pastor Bruno and did a prophetic act re watchman / intercessor / apostle.
We visited Pastor Bruno’s house and family – Natalia (wife), Gian Paulo and Anna Lisa (children). We prayed and prophesied to Natalia, who needed a word from God and He met her need.
SUNDAY
This was a day to pray over the city with Pastor Bruno
1. Fountain at corner point of city beside the sea: 3-fold alliance
· Santa Lucia – worship of the saints
· Mermaid – worship of mythology
· Mary of the Immaculata – worship of Mary
Pastor Bruno showed us on a map how this particular point was shaped like a building with even the streets like pillars named after these three holding up the building. When I (Martha) looked at the map it looked like a crown. I felt it was a crowning of these three as goddesses over this area.
This was the area of the original foundations of the city.
We broke bread decreed, and cut off authority of these three.
Martha had heard Prince of Greece in the spirit – black figure with four main tentacles/power points. I thought this is very interesting to hear Prince of Greece over Italy, but it was confirmed later.

2. Old foundation of the city above are 1) first area that they settled in after leaving Cuma (where the cave of the false oracle is) and before leaving to the new city – Napoli (Napoli means New City)
Then we went to the second place where they settled due to war driving them there. There in the center stood an obelisk, which stood in front of the church of St. Mary of the Angels (power or control over the angels). As we began to pray and cut off control, we began to call the angel of God to come and take control over the area. Pastor Bruno began to take apostolic authority over this area and over the Spirit of Greece (The original people that settled this place were Greek.) He cut off the false and called in the true government of God and the true Church.

3. Then Pastor Bruno took us to the four ancient gates of the city - Main Street – Ancient door – anointed with oil – ancient gate to the old city – Queen of Heaven statue with symbol of sun goddess on her head
4. Cathedral – This is a place where people come twice a year to see the false manifestation of congealed blood becoming free flowing every May and Sept. Decreed it would not happen again – false sign, wonder, miracle –poured wine over doorway and anointed with oil
5. Another Ancient Door – Martha saw four horsemen in the spirit coming through the gate – decreed closure to the enemy and entrance of the horseman of the Gospel – anointed with oil
6. Market Place – another ancient gateway. An unclean spirit was very strong in this area, it was even manifested in the natural. There was one horseman over the gateway. The poverty was very apparent in this area. It is also a place where drugs are sold, gangs gather, etc.
There is always more than you can report on a trip like this, but it is apparent the nation is in great need of true believers, born again believers, intercessors, and watchmen in order to see a change. We ask that you continue to pray for this nation and for Pastor Bruno, his family, and church.

Below is a prophetic word for France from Martin Scott, a national prophet from the UK who regularly takes prayer teams into different cities across Europe. It relates to the word Martha that heard while in Naples about the Prince of Greece.
FRANCE
I have been in France for 9 days in a 28 day period, so have felt that the Lord would wish to show something to me about the nation during that time. Between Christmas and New Year I was in Paris, and had been asking the city to speak to me, but it had been silent for two days. Then during the night, I had an interruption at 2.00 am which lasted for 2 hours. During that time I saw that cities/nations of refuge come alive at night and the call on the church is particularly to be vigilant at night. From my bed I went to the foot of the Eiffel Tower (never been there before) and realised that many have treated France/Paris romantically, but that the nation was now calling for those who would make covenant with her land. She is a romantic nation, but has to be wooed through covenant, so that the Lord is now calling for a serious level of interaction with the nation.
I had also seen in December how that through the (Greek) Empire deposits had been laid down in each nation. In France there was a strong deposit of Ideology. The demonic agenda is to collect these deposits back up so that there will be a base for a major Babylonish expression throughout Europe. However the Lord too has purposes in bringing Europe together.
My plea is Europe is and will come together, but if we respond to the scaremongers who prophesy Antichrist we might well find those prophesies being fulfilled, for if we withdraw due to fear we will fuel the enemy. The Lord however is calling for an involvement and a turning of the continent. A new Europe can arise and will if we engage.
Intercessors - let's take this word seriously and pray it into being!
