War of the Church

As I watched Fox news on Monday January 27,2003, I found it very interesting.  A man (I did not get his name) who worked for an electronic company was being interviewed.  He was talking about the new weapons America has now that were not used in Desert Storm.  One in particular that he described can be fired from a plane and will knock out all kinds of electronic equipment.  This weapon, as he said, will BLIND the enemy.   

I have been praying this very thing, "blind the enemy."  Zechariah 12 speaks of the time when Jerusalem is made a cup of trembling and a burdensome stone to all.  Verse 4 says, “In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness”.  This is a verdict that God has rendered toward the enemy and we have the privilege of executing the written word against powers, principalities, wicked spirits in high places, and rulers of darkness. 

Later in the newscast the US Ambassador to the UN, John Negroponte, was interviewed and said that everyone is asking about TIME.  We are seeing time escalate into God’s time.  On April 30, 2002 we gathered at Greenwich, England where we set God’s TIME in the earth, it will be delayed no longer.  (See http://watchmannetwork.org/April_30_2002_Greenwich_England_%20Shifting_the_Timeline.htm for a summary of the gathering)  I recently bought a Time magazine collector's edition that was entitled “Time Goes To War.”  I feel it is God's timing that we go to war with the demonic spirits that are controlling Iraq.   The enemy is doing everything he can to get us out of God’s timing.  We must pray for those involved in the war efforts to know God’s timing of all events that must soon take place.  Satan knows his TIME is short. 

What is the Church’s responsibility in the midst of times such as these?  Among many charges, I think the book of Revelation gives us some instructions that are as applicable today as they were in the day they were spoken.  Revelation 1:10 (Amp) says: “I was in the Spirit - rapt in His power - on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a great voice like the calling of a WAR TRUMPET.”  Jesus was calling the Church to war and giving instructions that would cause them to overcome and be victorious.  Unfortunately, it is apparent they did not hear and do what the Word said.  May we hear the call to war and do what the Word of God instructs us to do.  The following provides a brief outline of the warfare Jesus gave to the seven churches, the Church of that day.  This guidance is still relevant today. 

As you read these chapters again, allow the Lord to show you all that He means for the Church to be doing and not doing so we may be overcomers and receive all He promises in these verses.  There is much more we could add, this is just an overview of how we need to be living as His Ambassadors in the earth. 

On my recent trip back to the UK from the US, I was sitting in a window seat and looked out and saw an airplane with a complete circle around it.  The circle was shining like the sun, but had color in it also, almost like a rainbow.  I kept watching it for some time before I realized it was a shadow of the plane I was on.  I asked God, "Are You showing me that You have this particular plane encircled?"  I felt He said, "No, I’m showing you what I intend to do for the planes that fly in this war against the enemy."  I immediately thought of the scripture in Zechariah 2:5 that says, "I will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst."  I know this is speaking of Israel, but God uses His Word to speak about many things and situations we find ourselves in today.  "As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it." (Isaiah 31:5)  Praise the Lord for His promises. 

As I kept watching, there appeared very clearly four perfectly square windows in the clouds.  The first one disappeared very quickly.  The second one hesitated longer, the third and fourth just sort of clouded over.  I felt the Lord say this was a picture of the window of opportunity over four nations, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, and Syria.  I am not sure if this means these nations will have to be invaded by a natural army, or the army of the Lord in concert with the prayers of the saints, or both in order for the land and the people to be free to hear the gospel, but I had that impression.  Pray the Lord of the harvest will have laborers ready to go into these nations with the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.  Freedom is the sound of heaven.  Jesus came to make us free.  May this sound hit the earth and shake everything that can be shaken and cause the kingdoms of this world to become the kingdoms of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

These are things I saw clearly with the naked eye, but you might ask the Lord if He has more to be added to this interpretation.  I count it a privilege when God shows me things like this, but I would never want to make it into something (of private interpretation), or what I want it to be, rather than what HE is saying.  I set it before you to be searched, tried, and proven whether it is so.
