The House of the Temple

My insides were shaking at the recent Shift the Nation conference as speaker Lou Engle ministered on Saturday morning.  “God is raising up a House that will contend with every other house!” thundered the JHOP founder. 

 

I thought to myself “yeah—that’s what we’re created for!”  Little did I know that, in the midst of a pleasant conversation with Martha Lucia, we’d be invited to do just this!

 

Isaiah 2:2 talks about how in the last days, the mountain of God’s house will be established as chief among the mountains, and the nations will stream to it.  Our invitation and assignment this Friday is to work with the Lord to see an apostolic shifting at the very gates of our nation---from Ba’al to Ishi (Hosea 2), from Shebna to Eliakim (Isaiah 22), from a covenant of death to God’s covenant of life (Isaiah 28)…

 

Because God wants the headship of His house far above the terrible canopy of the House of the Temple.  The House of the Temple represents a Masonic counterfeit of the very dream of God’s heart for our governmental capitol, for our region and for our nation. The Lord Jesus Christ wants a corporate ‘Tabernacle of David’—where God’s presence is the primary influence in the governmental structures of the governmental city.

 

It’s Time

 

Recently in New England Wayne Anderson, a dear friend and father in Christ, prophesied about breakthrough and deliverance in Washington DC.  His words were very simply, “It’s time. No, it’s not just time. It’s high time!”

 

These very words were echoed by another dear friend, prophet Andre Ashby, while ministering last week at The Gate in Northwest DC.  “It’s time for Washington, DC,” he proclaimed—over and over again. Then came the almost inevitable words from this prophet.  “It’s high time!”

 

It’s time for the House of God’s Presence to break through as the dominant influence over the spiritual climate in Washington DC.  It’s time for the enemy’s veil or canopy of death to be further ripped off of DC and this nation, even as we celebrate with a feast on the Mountain of the Lord (Isaiah 25).  It’s time for His supernatural bridal canopy to be established in its place (Isaiah 4).  It’s time for the treasure held under the canopy of the false tabernacle to be shifted into the Tabernacle of God’s House.  And it’s time for God’s hand to break His people free from the graveclothes of this false canopy… it’s time for a massive move of deliverance from the generational consequences of the spirit of freemasonry!

 

We must understand that these are not just intangible, fantasy-laden concepts.  Instead, these are the very decrees restoration pronounced in Scripture, the judgments of Heaven’s court as His bride makes a break from the covenant of death made with Ba’al, this imposter of the true Bridegroom, Jesus Christ (Hosea 2). 

 

You and I have been invited by Jesus Christ, the Lord of hosts, to in some way be catalysts of this dream of God’s heart.  WE WILL BE PARTNERING WITH CHRIST TO SEE HIS COVENANTAL LEGACY FOR THIS NATION ESTABLISHED AT A NEW LEVEL!

 

Because the mountain of God’s house will be established as chief among the mountains.  Now is the time!

 

Basic Guidelines

 

Further in the report we’ll look at a national perspective regarding this House of the Temple prayer assignment, as well as take a guided tour before our guided tour on Friday.

 

First, let’s touch on some basic guidelines that will help make our prayer journey smooth and free from undue attention.

 

  1. As a team, our corporate unity and synergy is most important—our synergy with Jesus and each other.  This means that your contribution is of utmost value, and needs to be expressed!  As much as possible, lets stay with the flow, looking to see where each of our contributions fit in the general direction established by the Holy Spirit.

 

  1.  It is extremely important to curb the usage of potentially volatile language while talking and praying.  For instance—many intercessors use the phrase “I feel a lot of spiritual warfare” to describe the sense of opposition they are feeling in the spirit.  Other intercessors know you’re talking about a spiritual battle conquered through prayer—but our Nation’s watchmen in the natural MAY NOT. 

 

Especially with war in the mideast emerging, I would suggest avoiding any articulation of the phrase “spiritual warfare.”  Instead, if you feel supernatural oppression or a strong urge to pray, I would suggest using the phrase “spiritual intensity.”  This way our team will all know what you’re talking about and can help with the burden!

 

  1. It is important to come prepared—in other words, as much as possible, pray through ahead of time!  While touring the House of the Temple, we will only be       able to make decrees quietly, and probably individually more than corporately. Lets resolve ahead of time to be respectful and exercise discretion. 

 

As veterans of strategic prayer journeys, you will probably really bear witness with this analogy.  We are like a team of firefighters.  Firefighters don’t go into a burning building, locate a bathroom onsite, and fill up a bathtub with water to put out the fire.  Instead, they fill the tanks in their fire engines with water, and hook the hoses to the tanks!

 

We are like firefighters here.  Individually and corporately, lets fill our reservoirs with a fresh stream of prayer ahead of time.  When onsite, our quiet decrees and prayer in the spirit will be like uncapping the hoses and releasing this mighty stream of stored-up prayer.

 

I am also totally convinced the Lord is combining our reservoirs of prayer with the tipped bowls of prayers stored up before the Throne “for such a time as this.”  “And He will come like a rushing stream, driven by the breath of God!” (Isaiah 59).

 

  1. The Masons themselves are loved by Jesus—lets love them with His love!  Yes, they are serving the enemy.  Yes, they are perpetuating curses in society and throughout their generational line.  But most all of them have been quite literally “hoodwinked.”  They don’t know what they are doing! 

 

Charles Finney, catalyst of the Second Great Awakening, was a Freemason when he had his fireside visitation with the Lord and repented.  Similarly, there are many with a Moses-like callings for this final awakening who are wrapped in the graveclothes of the Craft.  Lets pray for their deliverance!

 

 

Shifting Government—a National Perspective

 

Our nation was founded through covenant with Jesus Christ.  In the northernmost part of our nation, the Pilgrims cut covenant with the Lord in the harbor of Provincetown, Cape Cod.  The Mayflower Compact, written on 11-11, 1620, articulated the purpose and covenantal foundations for the colony they were establishing--that the land and its government were for “the glory of God and the Advancement of the Christian faith”  (exact words italicized.)

 

Covenantal Foundations: The DNA of Awakening

 

In the first two Great Awakenings, you saw God move according to the core precepts of this very covenant.  You saw in operation the tangible manifestation of God’s presence and power—His glory—and unhindered evangelism, the Advancement of the Christian Faith.  I believe societal awakening and transformation is the heritage and destiny of our Nation—it’s in our covenantal genetics!

 

When they wrote that “We…in the Presence of God and one another, do combine ourselves together into a Civil Body Politic…” they demarcated that the Presence of God—the Holy Spirit—was to be the overarching influence and spiritual undercurrent of the government that emerged as the United States of America.  Note the covenant was with the Lord and with each other. 

 

I believe it is this covenantal foundation the Lord is wanting to fully establish in this season!  In other words, God wants His Presence, His glory to be the spiritual undercurrent and overarching influence of the spiritual and natural government of the United States. 

 

The Huguenots’ Covenant with the Lord

 

In the southernmost part of our nation, another weary group of Pilgrims landed near what is now St. Augustine, Florida.  They also established a community in covenant with the Lord and with each other.  Conquistadores came and slaughtered most of their emerging village, called Fort Caroline.  Their leader, Jean Ribault, died chanting Psalm 132, begging God that this nation would be “a dwelling place for the mighty God of Jacob!”

 

Glory Restored through the East Gate

 

I believe the covenants made by these two groups with the Lord for this land are being re-established again by His great hand!  I look at these foundational covenants as two gateposts of the geographic “east gate” of America.

 

Please understand this—both geographically and governmentally, I believe that Washington DC is where this east gate opens for the King to come in!

 

Ezekiel 43 talks about the “glory of the Lord coming in by way of the gate facing east”—and then “the HOUSE  was filled with His glory!”

 

You know that this prophet earlier saw the Glory of God lift from the temple because of the idolatry of His people.  This is really key here.  Because when God’s bride, the people of His covenant, embrace idolatry His glory lifts from His House!

 

This is historically exactly what has happened as Freemasonry gained a foothold in the churches and government of our nation.  Freemasonry is the primary occultic, idolatrous structure  that the Church—the Protestant Church especially—has historically embraced in this land. 

 

God is restoring His glory to the land at this time.  He is coming in by way of the Gate facing east, and is poised to light the nation with the glory of His countenance! 

 

Within the past decade, most of you probably have participated in times of repentance for Freemasonry throughout your region and maybe even nationally.  We as the body of Christ have made a historic break with Freemasonry as we have come to realize the extent of this idolatry and the root forces behind the Craft.

 

It is interesting to note that Charles Finney, the great firestarter of the Second Great Awakening, wrote that repentance from freemasonry by the present church was the primary catalyst for what he called “perhaps the greatest move of the Holy Spirit recorded since the Book of Acts.”  In other words, he attributed repentance from this idolatry as the primary key to restoring God’s glory in his day!

 

How Freemasonry Became a Spiritual Undercurrent of Government

 

Question though—in this covenant land, how did Freemasonry become established in the first place, to the extent that Finney and others became entrapped?

 

Not coincidentally, the House of the Temple has its address as 1733 16th Street.  The year 1733 marks the official founding of Freemasonry in England.  At this time, both in England and America, the fire of the First Great Awakening was burning very brightly.

 

Under the leadership of Jonathan Edwards, an apostle of the First Great Awakening, New England was virtually consumed by revival.  Northampton, MA, Edwards’ home town, literally became the first ‘transformed community’ in the western hemisphere. 

 

But one influential New England town—Boston—essentially rejected the fire and anointing of the Awakening.  Only a few years later, many of the Boston pastors who rejected the move of the Holy Spirit embraced Freemasonry. 

 

Interestingly enough, Boston was covenanted to the Lord by its founders as a “City on a hill and a light to the Nation.” And from the Grand Lodge of Boston, the false light of Freemasonry was exported across the land.

 

The story is similar in Charleston, South Carolina, where the Southern Jurisdiction was established at about the same time as in Boston.

 

Boston, as you know, is known as the ‘womb of the Revolution.’  When the First Continental Congress—mostly Masons—met to discuss war with England, their decision was to “support Massachusetts in revolution.” 

 

The Intent of Revolution

 

Whether the Lord intended war to separate America and England I do not know.  But I believe it was God’s intent that our emerging nation one day break from its mother. 

 

I believe God wanted for America a revolution in 3 arenas.  First, He wanted a revolution in government—what we now commonly call Democracy.  Second, He wanted a revolution in economics—what we now call the “free-market system.” 

 

Thirdly, and most importantly, I believe God wanted a revolution in religion. It’s called the anointing of the Holy Spirit for awakening and societal transformation—again, the covenantal heritage of our land.  And He wanted this anointing to be the spiritual undercurrent of our nation’s government, economic, educational, military, social, and religious systems!

 


Heritage Robbed

 

It is no coincidence that the Lord brought the First Great Awakening at the outset of what would become the American Revolution.  Amazingly, when the Boston pastors rejected the Holy Spirit and embraced Freemasonry, their choice would soon have dire consequences throughout the land.  Again, Boston was the womb of the Revolution. Therefore to some extent at least, Freemasonry became the spiritual undercurrent of the American Revolution.

 

It’s important to note that every revolution is fought to establish new government.  And as the primary leadership of the American Revolution had embraced Freemasonry, the government established afterwards reflected its influence. 

 

Therefore Freemasonry, to the extent that it became the spiritual undercurrent of the Revolution, also became the spiritual undercurrent of our government.  Hence Washington DC, the seat of this new government, was laid out according to Masonic symbology by Pierre L’Enfant.  Most of our Nation’s most sacred buildings in the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches were dedicated by Masons, with their cornerstones dedicated in Masonic rituals. 

 

And the House of the Temple, Headquarters for Scottish Rite Freemasonry, is celebrated as a great historic museum of our national heritage. 

 

Heritage Restored

 

Being prophetic types, I can imagine you’ve already put most of this together—it’s not new news to you. 

 

As a covenant land, the Lord has always had a significant remnant throughout history whose cries have birthed deliverance not just for our nation but also for our world.  Repentance from Freemasonry is nothing new—nor is the cry that “we and our fathers have sinned.”  Countless scores of intercessors through the ages have prayed over buildings, travailed in prayer for breakthrough of revival, living and dying for the dream of Gods’ heart to be realized in this nation. 

 

In this season where God is arising to establish His covenant with the land in a massive way, He desires this great ‘shift’ in our governmental city and in our nation.  He wants the restoration of His glory, His Presence, as the spiritual undercurrent and overarching influence of our government and of our nation.  He wants to export this anointing of awakening across this nation and across the nations of the earth—to truly disciple nations in the glory of the Gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ!!!

In Washington, D.C., at the corner of 16 and S Streets, N.W., stands the headquarters of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Southern Jurisdiction, U.S.A. It houses the Rite's governing body, the Supreme Council, 33°, and is traditionally called the "House of the Temple."

 

Completed in 1915, this edifice was the first major public building of the renowned architect John Russell Pope. He went on to design, among other notable buildings, the National Archives, the National Gallery of Art, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Mr. Pope took his inspiration for the Scottish Rite headquarters from classical architecture and based his design on one of the ancient "Seven Wonders of the World," the tomb of king Mausolus in what is now Turkey. (Our word mausoleum comes from this architectural marvel.)

 

Note: Temple architecture from Tomb.  Freemasonry is a covenant with death (Isaiah 28).  The ‘shift’ in Isaiah 22 is from Shebna, who was creating a tomb for himself, to Eliakim, whose name literally means ‘God of Awakening.’  Eliakim was given the Key of David—intimacy with the Lord, and governmental authority (Isaiah 22:22).

 

Tomb was from Turkey—identified by C. Peter Wagner and others as a primary seat of the Queen of Heaven. 

 

The House of the Temple is home to the administrative staff of the Supreme Council, our wonderful Library and Archives, offices of the Scottish Rite Journal, and the ceremonial spaces used by the Scottish Rite—Temple Room, Executive Chamber, and George Washington Memorial Banquet Hall. This building is part of the heritage that belongs to all Scottish Rite Masons and is proudly shared every day with friends and visitors, with a special welcome given to members of the Scottish Rite.

 

Approaching the front of the building from 16th Street, you ascend 3, 5, 7, and 9 steps to the massive bronze front doors between two 17-ton sphinxes, carved from single blocks of stone, one representing Wisdom and the other Power. Just inside the doors in the atrium is a giant marble table, supported by carved double-headed eagles, which bears the engraving "Salve Frater"—"Welcome Brother." Guided tours are given weekdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, or you can take a virtual tour online.

 

Visitors are always welcome. It is a special privilege of Scottish Rite Masons in the Southern Jurisdiction to have a home away from home while in our nation's capital, and we look forward to extending you a warm welcome.

 

Note: From here on is the online virtual tour.  They are happy to lay it all out for us.  This PRAYER TARGET  is unlike the other prayer targets in that it HAS NO REDEEMING REASON FOR EXISTING except as a false apostolic representation of God’s true temple.  It exists to offend the Lord, our God.

 

Freemasons explicity refuse the idea that the Craft is a religion.  But there is no need for a temple except to provide a DWELLING PLACE for a god being worshipped. 

 

The grand, turning stairway leads to the Temple Chamber. The steps and walls are Bottcino marble, the stair parapet is a black and gold marble from France. The bronze tripod, alabaster lamps are crowned by three serene faces of Egyptian beauty.

 

As we draw nearer to the Temple Room, additional light is provided by the classic tripod torchieres. Outside the door to the Temple Room is the Tyler's seat, made as a part of the marble coping, and bearing the ancient admonition, "Know Thyself."

 

The ascension of the stairs shows how Masons ascend in enlightenment that is the reason for the torches and also the natural light used. This is the meaning to most of them that their’s is a LUCIFERIC society, Lucifer meaning LIGHT.

 

The Temple Room ~

As we enter the Temple Room, the exultant sound of the great organ blends with the light to lead us onward until we enter the Temple Room itself. The Temple Room is a delight to the eye as well as to the spirit.

 

Walls, soaring upward, seem to expand rather than to enclose the room. The furniture is made of Russian Walnut, with brown pigskin upholstery—enriched by a tooled laurel leaf pattern in black and gold.

 

Note: Pigskin in the temple!  Remember that the First Temple was ritually desecrated by Antiochus Epiphanes with the blood of pigs. 

 

Hanukah—the Festival of Lights—celebrates the reconsecration of the temple by the Jews after this defilement. Oil was supernaturally provided by the Lord to keep the lamp lit 7 days!  LORD IN OUR SEASON, LET THERE BE LIGHT—TRUE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST!)

 

The floor is polished marble mosaic—tens of thousands of tiny cubes, each laid by hand. The floor is accented with a white marble border and with inlaid lines of bronze. In the wall openings on each side of the room are pairs of green granite columns, with bronze bases and capitals. The glass in the windows shades up from a deep orange at the bottom (where the light comes through the coils of bronze serpentine grilles) to a pale yellow at the top, allowing the light to stream in at full force.

 

The windows serve as another symbol of the progressive search for more light. The hangings in each opening are of purple Italian velvet, edged with gold. Crowning the center of the window is the Double Eagle, the symbol of the Rite. The seats opposite the entrance designate the East.

 

Note:  Don’t miss the significance of the EAST GATE!

Here is the Sovereign Grand Commander's chair, under a canopy of Italian velvet. The canopy is lined with cream silk, and embroidered with the emblem of the Grand Commander.

 

Around the walls is a black marble frieze inscribed in bronze letters "FROM THE OUTER DARKNESS OF IGNORANCE THROUGH THE SHADOWS OF OUR EARTH LIFE, WINDS THE BEAUTIFUL PATH OF INITIATION UNTO THE DIVINE LIGHT OF THE HOLY ALTAR." In the center of the room, as it is in the center of the Scottish Rite, is the altar. Made of Black and gold marble, and resting on a black marble plinth, it dominates the Temple Room with quiet dignity.

 

On the front of the altar, in Hebrew characters, is the inscription, "GOD SAID, 'LET THERE BE LIGHT' AND THERE WAS LIGHT."

 

Note: Let’s declare this redemptively—the Light of the Lord Jesus Christ!

 

Rising above the altar is the vast polygonal dome, symbol of the vault of heaven. The dome soars nearly 100 feet above the Altar, flooding the Temple Room with light. We have said that Light is of importance to the Scottish Rite.  The light of learning, of insight, of education is shared among Masons all over the world.

 

 

Leaving the Atrium, we enter the Executive Chamber; the room in which the Supreme Council meets in session. The room contains 33 seats, one for each of the 33 members of the Council.

 

Pillars of Charity ~


 

Aside from significantly embellishing the beauty of the House of the Temple, the Alcove is a place to recognize the generous contributions by outstanding Brethren to their local Scottish Rite Foundations or the the Scottish Rite Foundation, S.J., USA. In addition, gifts in this range to the House of the Temple Historic Preservation Foundation, S.J., USA, are also recognized in the Alcove, which sits down the hall from the Executive Chamber.

 

The Alcove, after more than three years of planning and construction, was completed in time to be dedicated during the 1993 Biennial Session. The challenge was to create an area so harmonious with style, quality, and significance to the House of the Temple that it would appear to have always been there. This was accomplished by remaining faithful to the timeless and masterful design of John Russell Pope, the original architect of the House of the Temple. Pope also designed many other architectural masterpieces, including the Jefferson Memorial, National Archives, and National Gallery of Art in our
nation's capital.

 

In developing his original concept for the House of the Temple in 1911, Pope created a "light well," located at middle landing of the marble staircase leading from the Atrium to the Banquet Hall, in the heart of the building. A window covered by a bronze grid admitted partial light through this opening.

 

Note: THIS IS HUGE!  PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO BELOW

 

In 1944 and 1953, by special permission of the United States Congress, the remains of Sovereign Grand Commanders Albert Pike and, later, John Henry Cowles were placed in vaults to either side of the light well. Memorial busts of Pike and Cowles, each on a marble pedestal, were added at that time.

 

Note: The Temple Headquarters is literally a tomb—talk about a covenant with death!!!

Albert Pike was the man who essentially defined Freemasonry according to its idolatry.  His book “Morals and Dogma” is referred to Masons as the Masonic Bible because of the definitions and explanations of the rites and rituals. 

 

Pike was also the Grand Wizard of the KKK in Arkansas.  As Pike has noted, freemasonry has its roots in the Ancient Mysteries of Egypt.  In other words, it empowers the same spirit that motivated the Egyptians to enslave the Jews.  The spirit behind freemasonry empowers slavery, and certainly empowers Anti-Semitism!!

 

In 1990, The Supreme Council, 33, decided to enhance and utilize this area by creating an exquisite memorial alcove as a place of special recognition for those whose gifts have advanced the work of the Scottish Rite.

 

At that time Brother John D. Melius, 33, artist of the "George Washington Laying the Cornerstone of the United States Capitol," "George Washington's Inauguration as the 1st President of the United States," and "Victory-World War II" paintings, was selected to work closely with Brother Donald Hogan Misner, 32, KCCH, coordinating architect for the proposed Museum-Library addition to the House of the Temple, to ensure the architectural harmony, structural integrity, and cost effectiveness of the Pillars of Charity Alcove.

 

In order to utilize fully Pope's light well, Brother Melius suggested a stained glass window as the centerpiece of the Alcove. The result of refining several proposed versions, the present window depicts the Scottish Rite Eagle with 33 beams of light radiating to an exterior view of the House of the Temple itself.

 

The Hall of Scottish Rite Regalia ~

 

 

The Hall of Scottish Rite Regalia is one of the several special areas developed in the House of the Temple during the 1992-1993 biennium. Located on the first floor between the office of the Scottish Rite Journal and the office of the Grand Historian-Grand Archivest, the Hall is an educational and inspirational highlight for many visitors touring the House of the Temple. It consists of 36 original oil paintings by Bro. Robert H. White, 32.

 

Brother White has won plaudits throughout his career as an artist from many notable art critics. Martin Amt, Curator of the Freer Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, for instance, said: "He is one of the relatively few painters in this country who continues to maintain the traditions of the past and has my whole-hearted endorsement of his talent as a painter."

 

Among members of the Scottish Rite, Brother White is well known for his 1989 painting "Time For Lodge." This was the first of the series of original oil paintings commissioned by The Supreme Council, 33. Its success, both as a painting and as an art print, encouraged The Supreme Council to commission "The Lodge Room Over Simpkins' Store" by Robert Soule for the 1991 Biennial Session and "George Washington Laying the Cornerstone of the U. S. Capitol, Sept. 18, 1793" and 1999's "George Washington's Inauguration as the 1st President of the United States," by Brother John D. Melius, 33, for the 1993 Biennial Session. In fact, Brother White completed another major oil painting, "Tools of the Craft," released by The Supreme Council as part of the celebration of the 1997 Biennial Session.

 

The concept behind the Hall of Scottish Rite Regalia was for Bro. White to create an artistic and ultra-realistic still life of the various elements (apron, cap, cordon, baldric, jewel, ring, gloves, etc.) of each of the Scottish Rite Degrees (4th through 33rd), including the honors of the Knight Commander Court of Honour and the Grand Cross. Also, for historical purposes only, paintings of the aprons for the first three Scottish Rite Degrees, as envisioned by Albert Pike, were also created. Brethren, unfortunately, seldom see some of the regalia associated with the non-obligatory Degrees.

 

By having this regalia accurately and beautifully presented in the Hall of Scottish Rite Regalia, there is now a permanent, impressive record of these Masonic elements available via the paintings themselves to visitors to the House of the Temple and via color photographic reproductions on a special order basis to Brethren everywhere.

 

Custom cove lighting, modeled after that in the Temple Architects Hall of Honor, was installed in the Hall of Scottish Rite Regalia so that each painting is individually and dramatically illuminated. In addition, a bronze plaque placed under each painting in the Hall indicates the number of the Degree, its title, and a brief statement of its duties. Finally, a self-portrait by Brother White has been placed in the Hall as a recognition of his dedication to the Rite and to this special project.

 

The Hall of Scottish Rite Regalia accomplishes at least four goals. It is a significant addition to the House of the Temple as a museum, a magnificent tribute to the material culture of our Order, an educational medium whereby Brethren can gain instruction on the symbolic…

 

Masonic Temple Declarations:

1.       Lord we reverse the curse of sin upon this land by the shed Blood of Jesus and We break and cancel any covenants with the pit of hell. Now that our eyes are open to this sin, We are sorry for it and we ask you to restore our liberty in the land, our authority and our inheritance.

2.       We destroy the Cauldron of the works of wicked men, including the leaders and forefathers by the shed blood of Jesus. We judge this town at its borders and ask that the spiritual legislations on the land be reversed. – Pick up soil and hold it towards the city(as Moses did against Egypt-it became boils.)

3.       Lord in your name and according to you word in Isaiah 61: we destroy poverty and declare no more will one labor and another reap. We declare Isaiah 62 to come to fulfillment.

6.       We prophesy to every shrine that Jesus Christ has spoiled your power and legality and your authority is destroyed.

I have been thinking about what God did impress on me as I moved about with my "best team group" to accomplish His will and purposes.  Unity, unity, unity - how important it is to walk in unity as the church body.  God can do so much when we walk in one accord.  This was shown as we came together and He spoke to each of us in different ways - but yet the same.  I personally got a glimpse of how God wants His army to look and be and WOW! What He can accomplish through us when we just follow HIM.  So, praise be to the King, the Lord strong and mighty for the battle is His and we already have the VICTORY

What a blessing to be chosen by the Lord to be on His team.  This past weekend was a privilege and a blessing. I strongly sense that the Lord's purposes were fully accomplished.

 

At the House of the Temple before we entered the building, we prayed, made declarations, broke curses, poured out the oil, wine and corn on the outside steps.  We then put it on the bottom of our shoes so that we would carry it everywhere inside the building.  Once inside, the Lord had me continually praying in the spirit. In the Temple Room, I placed my first stake with scripture between the cushion and the wood of a large chair to the left of the entrance door, and then just before leaving the room I placed the other one under the kneeling pillow in front of the altar.  I sat in the throne chair and prayed.  Once we reached the library, the Lord had me praying that the Blood of Jesus was against it, that the eyes of the members understanding be enlightened and that truth be revealed.

 

During the Capitol tour, I prayed in the spirit and as the Lord directed.

 

Throughout the White House Tour, I prayed that all the Presidents counselors give him, God's counsel with God's wisdom and understanding.

 

At the Capitol, we signed the declaration.  We then stood on the line between the Capitol and the Washington Monument to pray and read the declaration out loud.  Before we began, God caused Jolene to begin to move her hands in a counter clockwise direction.  We were reversing the curses and the false foundations.  As she did this some of the others began to turn in a counter clockwise direction.  We then had Dale Hensley lead us as we read to declaration out loud together.  Then Jon lead us as we read the declaration a second time.  As we prayed the Lord gave us Hosea 2 and Isaiah 54, and we prayed as the Lord directed.

Washington by Storm (The title of a postcard I bought at the Smithsonian showing lightning surrounding the Washington Monument.)

 

When I heard about this weekend, I knew I should be there.  WOW!  To be a part of this has been an honor and a blessing.  Thanks!!

 

My team visited the House of the Temple and took it by storm.  We anointed the outside steps with Martha Lucia's container of oil, wine and corn.  Then we anointed the bottoms of our shoes and walked it all around the inside.  I prayed in the spirit as the young man explained things, showed us the video, and gave us his tour.  I planted my stake beside the cushion where the big guy sat in the big room upstairs.  I saw the snakes there, supposedly a symbol of wisdom.  "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."  I remember praying the "Name of Jesus Christ and His shed blood."

 

We visited the Capitol to take it by storm.  I prayed the Name of Jesus and His blood.  I stood in agreement with the prayers of our group.  We anointed the Masonic star-type symbol in the middle of the floor where George and Martha Washington could have been entombed.  Mostly, I believe I prayed in the spirit (the perfect prayer, is it not?). We prayed in the old Supreme Court. May His justice and His perfect Righteousness spring forth from this high court.

 

Saturday, we entered the White House.  I remember praying that this place be PURE - as the color white declares.  I remember humming very quietly "The Old Rugged Cross."  I prayed in the spirit and as the Spirit led. I saw the ever-present four pedaled flower, which someone later explained was a conveyer of confusion.  I am sure I must have prayed against that.  Once again I declared the Name of Jesus and His shed blood. We did indeed take the White House by storm.

 

At the Capitol, we signed the declaration and declared it aloud.  We prayed at the ley line there, the one between the Capitol and the Washington Monument.  Jon knelt under his prayer shawl, declaring God's Word and His Truth.  We broke the evil things in the spirit.  We were storming the whole city and perhaps the whole country here.

 

After we finished eating at the Chinese restaurant, we left and took a taxi to the hotel in the midst of a storm in the physical.  What a finale!

 

Later that evening as the four ladies from Huntsville, Alabama, had a bit of dessert at the hotel, God told Mary Jo that: "He was well pleased with His daughters."  One of our groups cried. 

 

God is GOOD.  He placed us where He wanted us and accomplished the task to which we were assigned.  Praise the Lord!  Amen!  Hallelujah!!!

Well, this is Sara, your "missing link," reporting in . . .

 

I do want to mention one small thought for all of you, as I "stood down" here and assumed a position of simply covering EVERYONE in prayer last Friday and Saturday, so here goes:

 

On Friday, at 2:00 p.m., I was in my home working in my office with another intercessor.  I stopped what we were doing just before the hour, explained to Debra "what was up," and we went into prayer.

 

All I can tell you is that we BOTH sensed the VERY STRONG PRESENCE of the Lord as we prayed, and in my spirit, I could see "chains breaking" all over the D.C. area!!

 

Glory!

 

So, I do know that much was accomplished by all 150 of you when you came in to possess the gates of this city.

 

Thank you so much for your tremendous efforts on behalf of our nation.  I am fully confident that we WILL see "good fruit" that will remain now, over time.

I believe I was taking authority every where my foot went.  I know the High Praises pushed back things, as well as the shouts, and the prophetic twirl counter clockwise on the Capitol lawn.  At one point under the center of the Rotunda the Lord lifted me up on my tiptoes for an extended time.  It happened again to a lesser degree when breaking the ley lines.

 

I was able to declare about 25 scriptures when we at the House of the Temple.  I was behind the wall at the swords, while the rest of our group was sitting in the chairs listening to our guide.

 

I took some interesting pictures of books in the Library, boldly relating them to the occult, astrology and the Indians.  I also have pictures of their jewelry with Jewish and Islamic symbols.  Another picture of an apron with a crossbones skull on it. 

 

The "flowers" around the city caught my attention.  I took pictures of many of them also, on ceilings so often.  I called them roses.  It was interesting to me the definition of the flower the man gave at our recapping session.

 

The "Rose" is also what they call the top of the compass, the Capitol, and that was where my team wound up breaking the ley lines.  So I'm believing some of that "flower energy" from the ceilings was canceled as well!

 

I sat by a young man on the plane coming to DC who was reading a book written in Chinese.  Just before landing I asked him about how to read Chinese, as it was in paragraph form not up and down.  We had a nice discussion about Jesus. I think he was one of those from the yellow shirt group the others saw by the Washington Monument.  He was really pulling on my spirit to know more truth.

 

That seems like a lot of "I" stuff but I know that's what you asked for. I also want to say that the Lord was training me with this experience.  Redefining me I think.   I thoroughly felt this was a right time, right gate, place for me, but at the same time admired those of you going before me in this type of ministry making it so easy, organized and powerful.  Lamplighter Jon, THANK YOU and your wife.  DANA, KIM and MARTHA you made me feel so welcomed, as did the rest of my House of the Temple team.

 

When some one asked me how long I had been a watchman, it took me off guard.  So I bought all the books to see what this "watchman" word is all about.  Since I've returned home, the Lord has continued to give scriptures and encouragement.  There is so much fire in me to enforce this breakthrough in DC and carry its effects to our states.  I have just recently, March, become a mobilizer for the UNITED STATES GLOBAL APOSTOLIC PRAYER NETWORK for the state of IOWA, although I live in Illinois.  I work under Katherine Watsey.  My first formal assignment is to cover the highways in Iowa.  There were Houses of Prayer gathered as intercessors for me while I was in DC and I think the Lord is setting up HIS own ley lines to reinforce what was done across our highways!

 

So appreciative of the whole experience and the fact that these SECRETS and MYSTERIES are being made known to us BY GOD in this season so we can execute the judgments written.  Praise ye the Lord!

I saw and heard so much during these two days that it would take volumes for me to express everything.  But before giving a condensed version I would like to thank Martha and Dana for “hearing” and “doing” what God directed in such fine detail.  God through you both brought together seasoned intercessors from the four corners which made up a mighty army for God to march through the capital city of this nation for the purpose of taking back His land and restoring of His government.

 

My assigned team was The House of the Temple with Jon and Jolene keeping us all in tow and pointed in the right direction.  They did an excellent job with transportation, answering many questions and keeping spiritual direction on track.  I personally felt it such a privilege to work with everyone on this team.  What a picture of Christ taking dominion on earth today!!

 

As this team moved through the House of the Temple my attention was focused on the two thrones and the two altars that were so blatantly exposed for the world to see.  According to the interpretation of Daniel 2:42-45 this is the outcome:

 

     Vs 42-And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay,

      so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

 

     Vs 43-And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall

      mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one

      to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

 

     Vs 44-And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a

     kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not

     be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume these

     kingdoms and it shall stand for ever.

 

     Vs 45-Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the

     mountain without hands and that it brake in pieces the iron, the

     brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made

     known to the king what shall come to pass thereafter: and THE

     DREAM IS CERTAIN AND THE INTERPRETATION THEREOF

     SURE.

 

The kingdoms of this world are becoming the kingdoms of our Lord and He will reign from His throne forever!!

 

As we moved from those two council rooms into their library I was led to the first book of bylaws that was published over the state of Georgia which is where I am from.  I placed “the stake” that was provided earlier that morning into those bylaws and declared a severing of the legal entrance of the freemasons into this state in the name of our Lord and Savior.  I had a knowing that besides lending my faith to the corporate group I also had a personal directive from God for the state of Georgia.  Let true freedom reign through all states of the union to the glory of our Almighty God.

 

Much more I could share about the quiet hush that I heard as we moved through the White House, the overwhelming sound of bees that I heard as we marched through the Capitol Building but what a mighty force I felt as we gathered at our perspective Ley Line—Lord Sabaoth severing those invisible lines and ultimately “crossing the line of a bully”.

 

I thank God for the privilege of working with all of you and may we all continue to “keep up the good fight of faith.”

It seems that most of my promptings by Holy Spirit were confirmations to what was also being given to my team coordinators (Jon and Jolene, when Martha was not with us) or additional directions for prophetic acts to complement the declarations/prayers.  I did have some decrees/prayers that were shared out loud, but to spare you of likely repeated information by my leadership team coordinators, I'll just include the report below:

 

Overall, the event was very powerful and all the intercessors' team leaders had some wonderful reports that each team had experienced as led by Holy Spirit by the end of the event's final corporate meeting on Saturday late afternoon.  All of us felt the POWERFUL and wonderful keeping grace of God and His angelic protection!  We were constantly delighted with very specific leadings and even little surprising details provided by Holy Spirit for us to do, and well as to receive to complete each task!  It was quite amazing to experience just how intimate with details the Lord delighted in expressing Himself on our behalf!

 

One gal (not on my team) at the first corporate meeting on Friday morning had written MANY scripture verses to be handed out on numbers of wooden tongue depressors!!!!!  She then announced their availability and people came up and just started taking a few each, not even "inspecting them" as to what they said.  To me it was almost like a "wonder" how the Lord (at least on my team, and others acknowledged it too) seem to have the right time and the right place for each of our "verses" to be used ---- perfect for each appointed time for each stick's use.  Each of these "sticks" were to be declared with a prayer, and depending upon any other use for them as led by Holy Spirit, were most often pushed into the ground outside of the assigned target place ---- every target to be redeemed for God's glory!

 

Every target, except the target assignment that I had with my team.....the House of the Temple, D.C.  That building, the two sphinx', the huge long brass plaque with its wording at the top of the marble steps outside, and its "contents" inside have no redeeming value at all to the Lord for His Kingdom.  We used some of the "sticks" to anoint the soles of our feet (shoes) and made declarations before we went in for the "tour."  Some of these sticks found their way into some "hidden" places in the "House" by some of the team members!

 

For those of us who weren't scheduled to go inside the White House for a tour (and quiet declarations and intercession), many gathered around to intercede and pray.  There were many prophetic acts, declarations, and prayers during this time in particular since members from several teams remained outside.  It was delightful that while we were praying particularly powerful decrees, or saying prayers of repentance, the wind would pick up powerfully too, and then die down when we finished that particular segment!  God just delighted to show us that HE WAS LISTENING, HEARING OUR PRAYERS, AND SOMEHOW USING HIS WINDS TO ACTIVATE THEM!

 

One of our "acts" during this segment while near the White House, included holding up a large man's prayer shawl as a bridal canopy over 2 different team members (one who worked for DOD and the other for the State Department) while there were prayers of repentance and then declarations.  As we were told that the White House tours were completed and to join the others, as we were leaving, 2 Jewish women, who had seen what we were doing, but likely not hearing quite what we were saying, asked us what were we doing.  I didn't hear someone's response, which likely was somewhat "benign," but we all cheeringly encouraged them as Jews, telling them that we, as Christians, loved and supported them and Israel.  It seemed to touch them greatly! 

 

Then when the tours were completed, each team proceeded to their assigned target for the final assignment for "shattering" the invisible demonic structure over D.C. --- more prophetic acts, declarations and prayers were made then as well, with lots of shouting (like Jericho's walls coming down)!

 

After the final corporate meeting, we all gathered at a Chinese restaurant already prepared for us by reservations........wonderful!  At the end of that meal, as many of us were preparing to leave, the Lord saw fit to bring a mighty rain fall.  Even one of the British gals couldn't believe the downpour, which surprised me because of the rain that England is known for.  But she commented, "Well, we just have generally soft rain.....what is this?  I've never seen such big drops of rain, and coming down so hard and fast!"  Seems like the Lord was "washing Washington" again as He had done three weeks earlier, but this time not to flood downtown D.C., but to cleanse it again along with our many prayers, acts, and decrees made!

I felt the Lord directing me to fly into Reagan Washington airport, arriving about 11:45 pm on Thursday night. I was to pray through the night from that location.  As I flew in, the lights of DC were bright, and as I watched, as we circled several times before landing, in the spirit, the plane turned into a huge white horse, as in Revelation, I could hear the thundering of the hoofs, and Lord Jesus was riding over Washington DC as we circled in the air above. Then I heard, "sing my song."  It was a song that I had heard in the spirit several months earlier.  I sang it softly as I sat watching the lights of W DC below.  The words are:

"I am the Lord God Jehovah, Ancient of Days

I am the Prince of Peace for all time.

I am Jehovah Rap he, your healer,

I AM who I say I AM

Call out to me, I will heal your nation.

Call out to me, I will heal your land.

Call out to me, I will heal your cities,

I AM who I say I AM."

 

I was with the group that prayed over the House of the Temple. Two intercessors had previously gotten words that I was to stay outside, rather than going in the building.  I checked with the group leader and then remained outside the building.  I heard again: "sing my song," so I sang it softly under my breath as I walked around the building and stood outside.

 

Saturday morning I walked around buildings near my hotel, and obtained a research card to the Library of Congress.  I went to the area where materials of my interest are, and did preliminary investigation on how to search the library, Xerox items, etc.  Then I walked the tunnels under the Jefferson, Adams, and Madison buildings, singing the Lord's song of healing.

 

While waiting with our sub-group for the tour of the White House, several of us prayed with a woman from UK.  We prayed for her healing, for repentance for the offensive things said to her and the UK on the previous tour, and for restoration between UK and the USA.  As we finished, I heard the wind blowing anew in the tops of the trees, and felt an open heaven above us opening.  I heard the Spirit say "that's the wind in the mulberry tops, it's time to move."

 

Saturday afternoon our group was part of the group to go to the lawn in front of the Capital building.  I had one last wooden stick with scriptures on it, and asked permission of the group leader to do a prophetic act.  Background: At a First Fruit celebration two months earlier, I was caught up in the spirit, and saw myself whirling round with arms out, like a windmill, and the Glory of the Lord was all around me.  As I came back, I recalled what Chuck Pierce had taught, "we ascend in violent praise, and descend in spiritual war."  I heard the Lord say, "This year (Schmek Vav) YOU are the Vav, as you descend from praise, staking your claim for the future."

 

I explained the purpose of the prophetic act, and asked the group to sing and praise the Lord God as I whirled around. As I stopped whirling, I stuck the last scripture "peg" into the lawn, on the lay line. The scripture passage was: "Blessed be the Lord, who trains my hands for spiritual war, and my fingers for battle."
