Mississippi
Prophecy for Mississippi given by Martha Lucia October 17, 2008 Waukaway Springs, MS
“Mississippi, I would say to you the great Mississippi River shall become a river of fire and it will awaken the serpents in the state. But I say shake them off into the fire, cut their heads off. For under the surface of this land ambers of another civil war are burning and all it will take is one match being struck to start another civil war but you can silence the flames of war as you declare the word of the Lord to these demons of war and release the terror of the Lord upon them. For I have come to blow away the shroud of death that has encamped around this state and to prophesy to the dry bones come alive, stand up on your feet that exceeding great army of the Lord, for I have said to you will you serve me and my Kingdom and if so you must take on a warriors mentality.”
October 19, 2008 – Vicksburg National Military Park
Considering the word given at Waukaway Springs, Martha felt that is was significant for us to go to Vicksburg National Military Park. It was an amazing and timely trip for our nation as we prayed through the battlegrounds. When we got there we found some 1300 monuments that are attached to war and the warring demons.
Brief History of the Vicksburg National Military Park
Excerpts from www.visitmississippi.org/itineraries/themes_civil_war_mississippi.asp
Mississippi left the Union on a split decision when growing political tension forced the smoldering issue between union and secession into open conflict. War and wealth were key decision factors - on hesitation of the rich to trust their wealth to a fledgling government and the poorer class who feared the possibility of war. The Civil War was not an action of conquest, but a conflict of principles.
The Campaign for Vicksburg is considered by many historians to be the most ingenious military action in American history, with the prolonged quest for the city transforming central Mississippi into a bloody battleground. The battle was one of logistical strategy, attacks by water, underground, and from unexpected directions resulted in the siege of Vicksburg. Vicksburg was considered the Gibraltar of the Confederacy.
A reverence for valor and heroic deeds saw Mississippians through the difficult years of Reconstruction following the southern surrender. Glorification of the War was not limited to the south. The Civil War was elevated to an epic degree, with the virtue of defending heartfelt beliefs overshadowing the death and destruction wrecked by the conflict. Soldiers who fought under both flags came to view the Civil War as the baptism of fire that made American an indivisible whole- an inevitable clash that rendered the United States a nation in reality as well as in name.
Veterans from both sides felt an obligation to preserve the memory of those turbulent years, and as a result of their joint efforts a number of important battle sites, including what is now the Vicksburg National Military Park, were purchased for preservation.
Today the fields are tranquil and the guns silent, but an aura of timelessness dominates the landscape. Moss-covered cannons stand eternally ready to fire, granite horses dash forever into combat, and carefully preserved battle sites testify to the tragedy of a nation torn apart. Glorious triumphs and heartbreaking defeats are captured in stone and bronze, withstanding the touch of time to share their stories with future generations. Monuments, honoring long-ago heroes, remind visitors that this ground is hallowed, populated, by restless spirits clad in blue and gray.

Because the Battle of Vicksburg was considered the turning point of the Civil War we connected what happened there to the battle we are currently fighting for the soul of this nation and the 2008 Presidential elections. As we drove around we prayed and declared at each state’s monument that the state would align with the word of God and vote righteously. The states represented in the battle were Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Mississippi, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia fought in this war. Ohio seemed to be represented with the greatest number of monuments – interesting considering the voter fraud that is ongoing there.
This was definitely the devil’s playground. Specific battle areas were named “Railroad Redoubt,” Great Redoubt,” Third Louisiana Redan,” Stockade Redan,” and “Second Texas Lunette.” Redoubt means rectangle; redan means triangle; and lunette means crescent. Several of the state monuments were obelisks – their placement in the 116 acre park appears to result in ley lines that formed triangles. All are shapes that represent Satan’s kingdom.
The area was also know as the great Gibraltar – it’s terrain was amazingly rugged, with deep ravens, thus making the battle even more difficult.
As described in the article above, the park was built to preserve the memory of those turbulent years. This memory is in the DNA of Mississippi. It is in the ground and the blood of thousands cries out as 4835 Union soldiers and 32,697 Confederate soldiers were reported to have died in this battle. It is time for this memory to be erased from Mississippi. We read Isaiah 26:12-21 and declared that the memory would be erased and the DNA would be changed. (The monument to Kansas had a shape that looked like a string of DNA). The Illinois monument, pictured below, was built with an opening at the top of the dome, creating a natural draft through the building and a vortex. Surrounding the seal of Illinois on the floor were twelve rays (12 representing government). As we walked into this place we sensed that the opening at the top may be the vortex where the witchcraft words from Kenya may be entering. We broke off the power of witchcraft from entering the land and any connection with Kenya. We also declared that there is only one righteous government.
Near the Illinois monument was the road to victory – we stood on that road and declared that the mantle of victory and of a conqueror would be on the Church in the state of Mississippi. Mississippi has worn the victim mantle but no more!
At the cemetery we commanded silence to the voice of blood speaking to the demons of war who caused terror to release the terror of war upon them.
Throughout the 4 hour prayer tour, we called on the forces of heaven and called the shape of heaven into this land. The Lord’s voice is louder than the voice of blood and shatters the enemy. |
