Background – Tennessee State Capitol Building

The capitol building was designed by Philadelphia architect William Strickland.  The building was constructed over a 10 year period from 1845 to 1855.  Strickland died in 1854, one year before the building was completed, and is entombed in the northeast wall of the building.  The building design is modeled after a Greek Ionic temple.

William Strickland (1787-1854) Architect. b. in Philadelphia.  He studied under Benjamin H. Latrobe, q.v., and in 1809 became a landscape painter.  He produced a series of aquatint engravings of the city of Philadelphia.  His first important architectural work was the old Masonic Hall, Chestnut St., Philadelphia, which was opened in Dec., 1810.  The style was Gothic.  His next important work was the U.S. Bank, modeled after the Parthenon at Athens, and finished in 1824.  Then followed the Chestnut Street Theatre, Arch Street Theatre, U.S. Custom House, St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Merchants' Exchange, U.S. Mint and U.S. Naval Asylum, all being in Philadelphia.  He later turned to railroad construction, and went to Europe to study the systems there. His last work was the state house at Nashville, Tenn.; he died while superintending that construction.  Member of Columbia Lodge No. 91, Philadelphia, and past master of same. d. April 7, 1854.

Monuments on the capitol grounds include statues of Andrew Jackson and Andrew Johnson, and the tomb of James K. Polk, honoring the three Tennessee residents who served as US Presidents, as well as the Charles Warterfield Reliquary, a group of broken limestone columns and fragments from the former Tennessee State Prison.

Thirteen (nine from Tennessee and four from out of state) gathered to war over the principalities and powers that are aligned over the Nashville area.  We went specifically to the Capitol, the Bicentennial Mall, and to the Parthenon.

We started with Martha giving a brief overview of what we would be dealing with.

At the capitol – July 5

Our first stop was the Tennessee State Capitol Building.  Approaching the Capitol steps we prayed at the statue of Carmack concerning the spirit of division, the bloodshed associated with the civil war and called down the healing blood of Jesus to be applied.  We commanded that the line of division disappear and called unity in place.  We cried out that the division brought by the Trail of Tears would be broken off the land.  We learned 2/3 of the population of the US can be reached from Nashville by driving 8 hours – Nashville is a major hub – heart of the nation.  Three major Interstates pass through the area.  We prayed that the hurts, wounds, and distrust would be healed in the heart of the Cherokee.

When we entered the Capitol we went to the location where the first Supreme Court of Tennessee met.  The first laws for TN were established from this room.  We established an open court room of heaven and declared woe to those who make unrighteous decrees and said laws SHIFT.  We believe that a new decree was established – abortion no longer will have a legal right in this state.  We applied the blood of Jesus to reverse the decision.

We decreed that the Supreme Court would be open to have new judges seated on the court – men and women of righteousness.  We asked that God would remove the ungodly Supreme Court judges and broke the curses that have been spoken over the judges.  Take us to the courtroom of heaven!

We declared that God’s people would occupy positions in the state government and asked God to start taking out all influences of the enemy from the head, top down.

We called forth a harmonious sound, a new sound that would be released– a sound of freedom and liberty – for the city of Nashville, Tennessee and the United States and the world.  We prayed that there would be a fine tuning of the sound through our prayers and that the people of God would respond to God’s resonance.

A prophetic word was brought forth – “I will give you the new day you have asked for.  Violence is ahead but I have given angels charge.  Proclamations have been will heal your land.  Do not forsake the smallness of numbers.  Saturday (July 7) is not a mistake – mover forward in warfare.  I hold up arms so you will not be weakened.  What you ask I will honor.”

Marty Layton, from Nashville, had a vision of a round table in heaven laid over the Supreme Court Room – Jesus, Martha, Michael and the arch angels – host of angels were there.  There was a set of plans, battle strategies issued.  Each was given a red flag of freedom – each went to the edge of the United States to take the strategy to take the land back.  This is for the nation – angels of God are with us.

96 Bells – freedom is the sound.  One bell from the capitol needs to be the strong sound of freedom in Christ.  The other 95 bells have the wrong sound.  Martha prayed that the bells of freedom would ring again and forbid that the there would be a Islamic takeover of America (there are 5 mosques in Nashville) and called forth the voice and courage of God’s people to shatter the voice of Islam.  We commanded that the men of war who are in Nashville would not take the city.  We spoke to the Masonic and said dry up you priest of Baal, your covering is broken.

James Nesbit, who was a team member from out of state, bound the strong man – Aten.  He read Isaiah 30:27 and offered praise and thanksgiving that God’s voice rises above the false voice.  We invited God to be ruler in the land and re-covenanted with God as the government over Nashville.

Today is a new epic of Time – dawning a new day.  We called forth intercessors who had been timid or shutdown and called forth watchmen to be established over Nashville.  Father, we ask that you keep the city.  Close the eyes of Horis, you will no longer control the city.  Your power is nullified and fate is sealed.  We prayed that as in Nehemiah’s day, the intercessors would know how to build and war at the capitol, a place where laws are confirmed and confronted – may God’s rule be supreme.

Help us to not be silent!

A portion of the group then went to the bell tower of the Capitol, the highest place in the Capitol, where they worshipped and called the gatekeepers, watchmen, and intercessors to be established in the city and throughout the state.  Let a new sound come forth.

On the Mall – July 5

At what appeared to be a dividing line between north and south, Marty prayed to break the line and for Jesus to complete the work needed to join this nation.  He prophesied against the spirits of darkness that have caused division and erased the division with the blood of Jesus.  Make us one nation under God.

We had communion and prayed.  For things that are being created now – open the mind of Christ and close the false / the world’s influence.  God, we ask, position people to declare new things.  We declared the release of land from false covenants and released God’s covenant disconnecting evil.  Let all creation begin to worship from this place – we call you from the north, south, east and west – let God’s praises ring forth!  We decreed and declared that the old order has passed.  A new sound will be released, the sound of freedom over the state.  Lord of Glory come in – Might Man of War come do war with us.  Let freedom ring from these chimes that are located on this mall.  Let it change from this day forward!

Nash means coffin – so Nashville means coffinville.  The mall is built on a graveyard.  We broke off the spirit of death and binded the affect of the throat gate that was represented at the War Memorial.

The “heart” gate was at the same line as the monument that represented division between the North and South – the heart was divided.  We prayed that there would be a unified church released to the nation God’s heart, word and revelation.  If God’s heart is broken, God weeps over the land.  As we were moving toward 7/7/07 we divorce Baal and marry God. We ask that the love of the Father, the Father’s heart be planted.  We covenant to God to hear and feel your heart.  We repented for the innocent blood that had been shed, for the financial cause and prayed for healing and unity to bring back the broken hearted.  We prayed for God’s divine intervention to retain life and not death.  Only Jesus can repair the breach.  We asked for a fresh anointing.

When at the amphitheater we prayed that the battle over the destiny of Nashville is God’s!  We shutdown and shut off the false prophets, the mystic insights, the false religion, the Greek mindsets, and the witchcraft.  We released the wind and breathe of God.  The God of Glory will thunder from this region.  Mantles of anointing from God’s throne room will reconnect.

We then went to the McNairy Spring, which is dry and spoke forth that the deep foundations would break open and the ancient wells of the word of the Lord would spring forth.  There were seven springs – God complete what you started!  We spoke to the seven springs and said you will not carry the demonic and called them back into alignment with God’s purposes.

We called forth the destiny of Nashville.  It has been a called a Music City – we call forth from this city a new sound.  The music and the money to buy it will shift.

On the Mall - July 6

We went to each of the monuments along the timeline and prayed at many of them.  It was a very powerful time.  One of the highlights of the day was that the bells that typically play the Tennessee Waltz on the hour (where we had prayed and asked God for a new sound the day before) started playing “Here Comes the Bride” at 10:40 a.m.  As we prayed along this timeline, we broke off:

·          the “cloak” of remembrance that reaches out to people and envelops them in the emotion of the events that were written on each of the monuments.  We asked that the great divide that was represented would be healed and prayed that blood from these would no longer have a voice.

·          False religion – there is only one savior

·          Humanism & Greek mindset – we asked that God would guard minds and bring revival to the students and facility of the 19 colleges and universities in TN.

·          Ungodly alliances of traders and merchants – we asked that God would invade the marketplace

·          Hatred of the Jews – we asked that the heart of God would flood the Jews

·          Pharmaceutical power of mammon – we prayed that the power of God would enter the medical field and spiritual and physical healing would bring glory to God. \

·          Feminist spirit – we prayed that they would have women would find their freedom and life in Jesus.

·          False sound – we prayed that God would deliver us from the blues and that a new sound would come forth.

·          Law of evolution – proclaimed that God is the only true creative power

·          Disunity between black and white – we asked God to heal the breach

At the most northern point of the park Martha felt we needed to deal with the vortex – the point of entry that was allowing the pagan rituals to continue, providing the cosmic center.  Here we called down the fire of God and shut the vortex, forbidding it to open to the pagan influences.  We pulled down any legal aspects.  The entire park looked like a turning fork – as we stood at the top we positioned ourselves to break the sound of the tuning fork.  We dealt with:

·          Nebo - addressing the false voice through writing and publishing and said that the truth of God’s word will be published and that the newspapers will publish the truth.

·          Hermes – the messenger who carries the false voice and said NO longer will the messenger speak falsely.  The familiar spirits will not work here any longer.

Let righteousness spring up and all of creation align with the angels who are singing Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty!!
