By Martha Lucia I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying He wants to restore in 2004. The word restore means reconstitute. This means everything that is needed to cause anything – the church – saints – government to be what God says it should be is already present within to make it what God calls it. Think about concentrate orange juice. Everything is present in that little can to make it into orange juice; all you have to do is add the right ingredients. Planted within the earth is everything that is needed to build the kingdom of God. Inside each saint is everything that is needed to cause us to be blameless before the throne of God. Within the church is everything that is needed to cause it to become the spotless bride of Christ. Within government is everything needed to cause it to be the justice and righteousness needed. After all, the government is on HIS shoulders. The silver and gold belongs to HIM. The Holy Spirit lives within us. Jesus said HE would build the church. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and rains righteousness on us. James 5:7 says, "Be patient therefore brethren unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth and hath long patience for it, until HE receive the early and latter rain." What is the early and latter rain HE is waiting on? Could it be the prayers of the saints? Isa 55:10-11 speaks of rain as the WORD of the LORD. Therefore prayer is essential for the early and latter rain in the time of harvest. Get in agreement with the Word. Isaiah 58:12 and 61:4 say, "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in." It is time to build the proper foundations that the church will be built upon – the prophets and apostles with Jesus Christ the corner stone, time to repair the breach – intercessors take your place in the breach - cry out RESTORE (Isa 42:22) -time to build – restore God’s highways, His paths in order for those seeking Him can find Him. Isa 1:26-27 says, “And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counselors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, the city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.” God hear our cry and restore judges and counselors of truth and righteousness. It is time to cry out for the restoration of Israel and the completeness of the Jewish people. The destiny of the earth is tied to this restoration. Isa 49:6b says, “I will also give thee for a light to the gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.” (For a clearer understanding of this read all of Isa 49). Isa 62:6-7 says, “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night; ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silent. And give Him no rest til he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Romans 11:15 says, “For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead.” This chapter goes on to say the gifts and callings of God are without repentance (meaning the Jewish people) and because of them we have obtained mercy, and through our mercy they will obtain mercy. Oh people of God cry out for mercy for the Jewish people, and for Jerusalem to be a light that burns bright. Joel 2:25 says, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” Whatever the enemy has stolen from you believe God to restore it!!! Has your joy been stolen? David cried out in Ps 51:12 for God to restore the joy of his salvation, and uphold him with God’s free spirit. Jesus came to make us free, to make us whole! Mt 17:11-12 says, “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things, but I say unto you, that Elijah is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed, likewise shall also the son of man suffer of them.“ (This means restitution to former condition.) Jesus paid the price of redemption to restore all things. Amos 9:11 says, “In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old; 12a - that they may possess the remnant.” The blood of Jesus has already completed this. Acts 15:14-21. There is so much more to be said on this subject, but what is our obligation as His representatives on the earth? Acts 3:21 – (speaking of Jesus) whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. It is time to believe God to show us the next thing to be restored, then the next, then the next until the heaven can release Jesus to return. As we partner with the Spirit of the Lord, He has been sent to reveal, declare, and disclose unto us all things (John 16). Therefore, it has been given to us to know, to understand the mysteries, to understand the times, and to know the next step to restoration. Oh what an exciting time to be alive in HIM.
